Wow – I really thought Paul Taylor won that fight, but it was an extremely close fight. I’ld give Lytle the 2nd and Taylor obviously the 3rd. The first round was the difficult one in that I felt Lytle had more control of the round where as Taylor landed more punches and did more damage. Whatever judge scored that match 30-27 Lytle should never be allowed to judge an MMA fight again. There is no way you can give Lytle the third round, even if you do give him the first two.

hmmm, lytle deserved the win marginally, but i gotta say, it was a pretty even match, maybe experience won out over the fight. I was impressed with Taylor’s performance, especially towards the end, he seemed to be in better condition and Lytle was disappointing with his take downs after seeing past form. Still, he was more composed but to be honest I expected more from him… nice to see two fighters going at it for 3 rounds without giving up though

The clear cut winner is lytle. He was aggressive, renlentless eventhough he gassed, but still came through to bang. Taylor was ok, he didn’t swing for the fences until it was to little to late. However, I don’t agree with the 30-27 call, but lytle did take it. Don’t hate!

proud to say I’ve never paid for a ufc card and never will. The cage sucks, they need a 10min. 1st round, stomps, 4point attacks & soccer kicks must be allowed and this 10point must system is a scam!

this could of been called a draw or be spontaneous and declare a 4th round of action. If there’d be a 10min. 1st round that would make the difference, it separates the men from the boys. You’d either get a ko, tko, or submission or a more dominant decision.

Win or lose, Taylor always puts on a show. He could lose every fight of his career and still be worth watching, good stuff from both fighters. That 30-27 score was bullshit.

It was such a close fight that honestly, the 30-27 wasn’t out of line. Lytle was the aggressor early in round 3 and landed a lot of shots. Taylor did well later in the round. I can see the any or all of the 3 rounds going to Lytle. Since we don’t have draws in UFC (unofficially) somebody’s going to be declared the winner and in my opinion Lytle won in UFC rules or PRIDE rules. Mentioned PRIDE because of the idiot above’s comments. Shouldn’t encourage him tho.

yah alot of deicisions are bullshit. Unfortunately its left up to opinion.. and they fall back on “never leave it up to a decision” which is a cop out… they need to fix it.. I really dont see why they can develop software to accurately count striking or some asepct of it to leave judges more freedom and able to put towards judging the fight like we so obviously can lol

if you dont like how they structure ufc dont watch!..theres other promotions out there – all of them far far shittier than ufc!!! or better yet go start your fuckin own. If you’re after vale tudo styles which gives the fighters more to showcase…fantastic i love it. its pure i wish you well and will gladly be a paid viewer. I think taylor won the 1st and 3 round.It may seem like lytle was controlling the 1st round but taylor was hitting him more with his short punches,and taylor punches landed more solid.I think the judges need better seats.

I’m from Indiana and I’m really starting to dislike Chris Lytle. I’ve heard from people that went to train with him that he’s a big asshole. Plus, in a pre-fight interview he says he wants to stand and trade then proceeds to push Taylor up against the cage and try to take him down. Pussay.
