He earns a title shot. Anderson Silva watch out!
He has already fought Anderson Silvia. I wouldn’t mind seeing a rematch.
Wrong division . . . .
wrong division, he’s fighting welter weight now.
I’m always amazed by how certain fighters start winning a fight, specially using kicks, and suddenly simply give that tactic up. If you rock someone with head kicks, keep using head kicks!
However, Lytle is out of this word in resilience and recovery. I don’t think he’s going to be a title holder, but he’s always an extremely dangerous fighter. You need to beat Lytle to get a title shot.
Didn’t think Burns would be as tired as he was. You had the feeling he missed an opportunity to finish the fight in the first round, but Lytle is game.
definitely no bonus, he didnt even try to finish. no combinations either, you cant win a title fight like this.
I wonder why the UFC let EA put a round four ad on the mat when EA is making an MMA game. they might as well put a FEG or Dream logo on the mat as well.
yes he wrong but, im bored from decision fights
this fight pissed me off all he did was throw haymakers yeh he is resilient but if he was more technical he could have gotten a proper knockout w/out having to go the distance……im not sure if he did but i hope he doesn’t get fight of the night because that was not a true showing of mma skill and entertainment like the guida and sanchez fight

Travis Lutter fought Anderson Silva.
Chris Lytle is a different person. Though, they look remarkably similar.
Lytle fights like a tough guy!
lytle taps at the remaining 55 seconds of the 1st round!
Lytle’s one of my favorite fighters, but I think Burns should have won this one. He won the first two rounds I thought, but I could honestly see that third round being a 10-8 round for Lytle. After Burns got cut he quit coming forward and stopped throwing kicks entirely until about the last 40 seconds. He was forcing Lytle to fight going backwards and I think thats how you beat a guy like Lytle, a forward pressure fighter.
It was a good fight and I believe the decision was accurate. Chris Lytle is a great “gatekeeper” type of fighter. He’s great at measuring where another fighter’s talent is. He can hang with the best, but he can’t beat them and will never be considered one of the best. Furthermore, regarding his opponents, if they can beat Lytle, they likely have a decent chance of having a great UFC career (for example, look at some of his past opponents who beat him; Serra, he went on to become WW champion after defeating Lytle; Alves, he fights GSP for the WW title at UFC 100, and then there’s Kos and Hughes who’s credentials don’t really need to be explained.), but for those who can’t beat Lytle, it usually tells a great deal about their place in the WW division as well as their overall talent, which usually consists of being a lower-level UFC fighter.
was that a tap at 55 sec of the 1st round?
Too bad Burns didn’t have more energy after round 1.
If Burns would have fired back more it would have been a really good fight.
uh, excuse me Mr Tea bag, but first of all not only would Anderson Silva destroy either of these guys, He’s the MIDDLE weight champion, who is moving up to Light Heavywieght. Not only was this not a fight for #1 Contendership its a WELTERWEIGHT fight. If you don’t know what your talking about, don’t post comments
just loved how the blood poured outa burn’s face
