Also very glad to see Mark Hunt bomb out “Dirty ball shots” Kongo. Kongo is one dirty mofo of a fighter and I just wish Herb Dean had let Hunt wail on him for another 3 minutes or so. A little payback for all his ball shots in past fights seems in order.

Kongo has been hit in the chin a few too many times. He needs to find a safer job.
Hunt v. Barry would be an interesting match up. They are both short and powerful strikers. I think Hunt would win, but I also think, as far as rankings go, Hunt should be offered a higher level fighter than Barry.
Barry needs to get a couple of victories under his belt after a that losing streak. But it would be a very interesting fight.

Dude, that first left hand that sent Kongo dancing was an Anderson Silva-esque counter. Mark Hunt has never been in good shape though, and I hope he can overcome his cardio problems, because his striking is better than Overeem’s and Werdum’s.

Mark Hunt vs Pat Barry would be a great fight.

Good stoppage. Kongo grabbing the refs leg is just reflexes and an obvious sign of disorientation. Would have liked to see Hunt KTFO Kongo on one power shot though. that would have been sweeeeet! Obvious disparity in good MMA striker vs World class K-1 Striker.

Hunt vs Nelson or Barry. Hunt is one of the few guys who could DEFINITELY KO nelson if they trade. Nelson probably out-grapples him pretty easily though (if Nelson doe the smart thing). Barry probably get’s KOed pretty spectacularly, but it would be a fun fight.

Weak chin? In 26 fights Kongo had only been koed 1 time.
Good win for Hunt, but after Kongo’s fight with Pat Barry.. it would have been nice to allow Kongo another second or so for him to recover.Kongo was on his way out, but not quite out yet.

He was pretty much KOed by Mir before the sub. KOed twice by Barry but amazingly the ref let it go. KOed by Hunt. KOed by Gilbert. He doesn’t have a good chin. I love watching him fight he just can’t take a shot.
