Why would Kongo be given Jensen as an opponent, after fighting Cro-cop and Herring, isn’t Jensen a step down?

He lost to Herring but it was a dull boring typical Herring fight!

I want to see Kongo fight real opponents!

At First glance looks like preemy stopage but if you look harder kongo got em fair and square…wasn’t much of a fight though Both fighters could have a better ground game!!!!!!

Evenson was totally outclassed. Nice win for Kongo, but he needs to fight a real fighter next time.

in the post fight interview kongo seemed quite disgusted with something/someone.
my guess is that he feels this way about the ufc.
gonzaga beat filipovic and immediately got a title fight against coture.
kongo beat filipovic and got hering.
kongo landed more punches and kicks against hering (check fight statistics) but lost in the eyes of the judges.
and now he is way down the card fighting a no-name fighter.

Who’s next??? Cheick Kongo vs ??? possibly the only interesting fight that could come out of the UFC heavyweight division at the moment is Kongo vs Werdum (or Brock Lesnar? Cain Velasquez? Gabriel Gonzaga? I doubt it! None of them deserve a shot at the title yet in my eyes only Fabricio Werdum…) and it won’t be until around the T.U.F show finale anyway… Because Mir or Nogueira will have to defend the title. The UFC desperately needs some top tier heavyweights and fast! Affliction are getting a nice few!! What’s next for he heavyweight division of the UFC??? Any ideas???

Cheick is such a joke! he loses to Heath in his last fight and beats a nobody last night and thinks he deserves a title shot – give me a break. The only reason he beat CroCop was because he kept kneeing him in the crotch because he’s a dirty fighter with almost no defense. The UFC should throw his ass up against Lesnar or Gonzaga next for being such a dick after his fight.

kongo is a dick. i want to see cro cop deal get out of his emotional chrisis and get bact to ufc to win the belt. he deserves it. he beat a whole lot of former champions, won the ow gp belt, now it’s time for the real thing!

Kongo doesn’t impress me, never has never will. Probably because I’m not in the demographic that he and Rampage are geared to suit. Bully fighting doesn’t work in MMA and that’s something he and Rampage will have to grow up and realize as fighters.

Kongo has no ground game at all, not even a hint. He needs to go back to kickboxing and leave MMA alone. And yes, he is a dirty fighter. I saw him at a kickboxing camp straight up kick this guy in the crotch then bang his chest like a monkey. I’m no Chen Pen but I promise you if I kicked you in the jimmy you wouldn’t want to fight either.

Yeah Kongo beat Cro Cop, I wasn’t surprised. Cro Cop is on his down hill slide and most have his game figured out. But to be surprised that Kongo gets the shaft after getting beat by Herring?
