wow, that was some super slick transitions by Torres…see, Chase was doing good, got out of 2 attempts, but Miguel is a guy who can transition to 3, 4 or maybe 5 more different sub attemps…most guys aren’t ready for that…I’m sure Beebe didn’t train for that…

That was a crazy match I was proud that Beebe even lasted through the first submission. I really thought that arm was going to break until he rolled out of it. Scared the crap out of me it reminds me when Tim Sylvia had his arm broken by Frank Mir….

Damn I despise american MMA fans…. They just go to MMA event so they have something to talk about when they go back to work… cooler talk…. what a waste.

Any who…. I think Chase was rocked by that kick… more so than it appears. You could tell he really couldn’t do anything when on top… he was going with his instinct and GnP, no composure. I don’t mean to take anything from from Torres. He has nice punches, good kicks, and a very well mix up…. great grappling. He has to be careful though, if he was fighting a better puncher, he would have been caught a couple of times while low kicking.

I like WEC, it has this Pride-esque feel to it… not so much UFC…. hummmm… feel that?…. it’s the smell of freshness…not musky… stale UFC air.

Great fight, Beebe held his ground reasonably well against a much greater ground game after getting rocked in the stand up. Solid show from Torres, he’ll be tough to beat.

And hey, now he can afford a freakin’ haircut haha.
