Reminds me of Mir’s shoulder lock on Pete Williams, back at UFC 36. Totally a spur of the moment, right positioned submission that shows more than just technique..but also veteran craftiness. Awesome! Poor Iowan though.

one of the most impressive subs ive seen to date and ive followed mma since pride/ early ufc days. his transition of the ankle lock to the knee bar then to the calf slicer is incredible for a guy whose main style is muay thai.
