Bisping definitely won the first two rounds.

What damage did Gale actually do with his p****-ass smothering attempts?

At the very worst it could have been a split decision. But unanimous victory and 1 judge scoring 30-27? Utter fkn crap!

Props to Bisbing for not quitting right there Nick Dias style.

I’ve just rewatched the fight with the sound off for rounds 1 & 2. Sonnen won both rounds. 30-27 isn’t entirely implausible.
Rogan must get royalties for hugging Bisping’s nuts.

I am British, i like both sonnen and Bisping so i am kind of neutral. The only reason i would have liked to see bisping win is that he was the underdog, so the upset would have been interesting. But Chael clearly won the fight. It would have been really interesting to see a five rounder there, but Chael won the 3 round fight. No need for a rematch. Chael will also be a way better apponent for Silva.

never been a big fan of bisping but I think he won this fight and I think at minimum bisping has earned a rematch with sonnen or maybe even let him have a shot at the winner of sonnen vs silva.

The fight wasn’t great, but to say it’s a robbery is nonsense. I watched it disregarding the commentary and it looked damn even. Sonnen had him in bad spots more times (actually Bisping put him in any sort of danger at the very last seconds of the fight, where Sonnen probably let go knowing it’s over in few seconds). He landed here and there but nothing spectacular. you could easily argue for both men winning. On the other hand Bisping won second round, where Sonnen didn’t do much, and 30-27 is an ignorant score.
Just like some guys here said, if Sonnen looks like that vs Silva he’ll go on a stretcher. But I think we’ll see different Sonnen, more motivated and precise.

I don’t agree with some who say ” Sonnen clearly won the 3RD” sure he did score more point in the beginning of 3rd but by the end bisbing got back up and was on top of Sonnon so he wasn’t clearly wining i’m sure if the fight went one more min the result would have been very different. not to to forget a judge scoring 30-27? that was just a joke!
Sonnen’s little girly punches to the arm and body were weak and didn’t do any damage.
