Sonnen is good at talking that s***. He is able to turn on that WWF s*** talking persona like no ones business in order to hype a fight or to get a fight he wants. And, as we saw in this interview, he can turn off the WWF persona and be a normal guy.

Perhaps you didn’t watch the fight, but he kicked the ever-living s*** out of Silva for 4 and a half rounds, then he did indeed get caught in a triangle and lost. How come NO ONE is talking about the $100 pay cheque. That’s less than the $250 Fertita said ESPN paid to one of their boxers, as a point of how disgusting the UFC has never been. Man this hurts, must be glad it’s in the past. Guess the UFC wasn’t so morally white and clean in the past. Look i am all for running a tight business but the UFC negotiates off of the fact that the majority of the fighters would fight for free because they love the sport so much. Dana and the UFC would not do anything for free because they DONT love the sport. What they love is the fact that they can make alot of money off of it. I give Dana credit because he had the vision and the drive. But dont give me that “partner” BS that he fed Chael and others who would be fighting for free while Dana pimps them out.
But at the end of the day they are all grown men and if a grown man wants to work for cheap and be pimped out then hey its a free country.

Actually, they fought in 2005, the Fertitas bought the UFC in, I believe, 1998. So, that’s not true.
