Sonnen was diagnosed with hypogonadism in 2008 which is a legit diagnosis. He takes synthetic testosterone injections twice a week due to this condition. The California State Athletic Commission gave Sonnen a suspension NOT BECAUSE OF HIS STEROID USE but because he failed to properly disclose this before his fight. So stop making remarks how Sonnen cheated due to steroid use!!!

More like hyper-douchebagism. He’s the most cockiest hateful ignorant prick in the MMA world. No one on this forum will ever spew as much venom as this guy does. He’s an amazing wrestler, with an absolute inability to finish a fight against any opponent that’s an actual mma competitor. So many hate on GSP for his decision-streak, but this guy’s worse, except he gets choked out by medium-tier fighters. He says in an interview he didn’t lose to silva, that from where he comes from beating on a guy for 23 minutes than getting choked out isn’t a loss. I believe that’s called an upset, sure, but it’s still a loss. How can you even dispute that when you TAPPED OUT. He bashes Brazil, their fighters, their lifestyle, their economy, than states that the brazilian fighters hate their country for fighting for UFC, and they should love him. What kind of ass backwards conclusion is that? I suspect he will lay and pray Stann to a decision victory, staying just busy enough in the guard to keep the fight on the mats. Will people please stop saying he tested positive for steroids? He had elevated testosterone levels and low estrogen levels.They never said he had steroid components or hormones in his system which means he was clean during the fight. He showed “an abnormally high testosterone-to-estrogen level, an indicator of steroid use”. Or an indicator of testosterone replacement therapy, which was disclosed to the commission during the pre-fight physical. Strictly a paperwork issue as far as I’m concerned.

@ Not Anonymous: Dude look, what these TRT people do is increase their testosterone levels during trianign camp, way beyond the normal threshold of a normal person. And before their fight they tapper down to meet the “normal” levels, and no one ever knows just how high they went during camp. So just cos he disclosed hes in TRT doesnt mean hes not doing this. Only way to catch these bastrads would be through random testing which does not exist, or like MArdquart, if they miscalculate the tapper down period and end up testing high at the end.
