In ALL likelihood Silva will get through him without breaking much of a sweat. Silva’s not known for breaking sweats when dispatching with top competition. That would be awesome, and with his sense of humour he’d DEFINITELY dance after, making him an instant legend. Beyond p4p best in the world, he’d rise to mma legend if you could play back reels of Sonnen mocking his dancing and then Sonnen on his back with Silva dancing! That would be a coup de grace. It would be an mma youtube favourite.
IF, by some ridiculous alignment of stars, Sonnen actually won, well even I couldn’t be mad at him. Anyone who runs their mouth THIS much AND backs it up also becomes an instant legend. Especially if they ran their mouth when facing the man regarded as best p4p in the world….. I just don’t see this happening. If it did, I’d even be mad at Silva, so it would be easy to back Sonnen if he actually won. Silva has 3 times his talent, so if he beats Silva, it’s through hard ass work, and he’d have to earn it.

Looking at this objectively, as we should all be doing when making our predictions, I think silva takes this on the basis that chael has a weak bjj defense and Anderson has good bjj.
