Well the fact is Anderson has never shown cardio. The only 5 round war he was in he got smashed the entire time by Chael. Sure, he has won decisions, but the fights were slow and he showed he was gassed in the later rounds. I don’t know that Chael is going to get him to rounds 3, 4 and 5, but if he does I think he will win it. If the fight ends in the first 2 rounds, Silva will get the KO. If it goes later than that I have Sonnen via ground and pound or decision. No way does Sonnen sub Silva.

Please stop with the “Roid” thing. Do some research, watch the NSAC hearing, then if you still think he used “Roids” you can apply the steroid angle to 80% of the rest of the UFC. The only difference being they fly under the Testosterone radar low enough to not be in violation. Sonnen was cleared to be at his elevated level and was only guilty of not disclosing it on all of his pre-fight documents. I’m not a big Sonnen fan and he broke a condition of the commission, but applying the word steroid in this case is slanderous. BTW vitamin D is classified as an anabolic steroid, being a hormone produced by the body and needed for muscle growth, why isn’t someone throwing a baby fit about his elevated vitamin D levels being the reason he dominated Silva? Use your brain before your mouth.

Promote the fight and profit from it, this is business. Regardless the result.
Cage fitness, its fitness, not fighting. It sure do help to have cardio, specially if you are fighting. But fighting can screw any cardio master plan, because adrenaline, nervousness, pain and energy comes in play here. Everybody reacts differently to those elements.
5 rounds, Silva can take it, Chael too. I saw the fight, many times. Never I saw in Silva face the sign of defeat or panic.
Just remember the fact that at his training camp, he did mention his intention of submitting Chael. That is what he wanted to do, and after 5 rounds, that is what he did.
Could mean nothing, but to me, it means the man can wait and take medium punishment, just to prove a point and wait for that opportunity. I will submit you.
When you think you are on top and in control, sometimes you may let some of your guard down. Be aware…you are still fighting, so is your opponent!

Belfort, Hendo, Horn, Maia, Franklin. All top tier fighters. I don’t like Silva at all but he is nearly unbeatable. Chael is the only one who has a shot and that is because of his wrestling and tremendous cario. Silva is better than Sonnen, but Sonnen has way more heart and discipline. Punch for punch, Silva is a hands down winner. Fortunately Chael isn’t going punch for punch, he is going for a take down and will try to gas Silva. To date that has been the only weakness Silva has shown. Hendo would beat him now but Hendo expressed he doesn’t want to fight at 185 anymore. Silva doesn’t want to fight at 205. My dream fight is Silva vs Bones.

I fight at 145-170, I’ve never fought anyone who was half as good as the guys Silva demolished. My record sucks, and my only *paid* fight I was KTFOed 2 minutes in. I did get off a highlight head kick though….
