Sonnen is a more than just a UFC Tonight analyst and fighter, he’s also a talented poet. In fact, Sonnen wrote a poem for Jon Jones that shows exactly what he’s got in store for him at UFC 159.

Gaaarrbage! Chael’s to small and couldn’t finish Anderson even while he held him down for five rounds. Jon Jones’s power is way surperior bro. Chael always quits when he’s in danger and as soon as Jon is on top, I guarantee it’ll be no different. He even admitted to letting guys triangle choke him just because he wanted the fight to be over. I do like Chael. He’s intelligent and a great fighter, but just comparing his fight video’s side by side to Jon Jones, he’s getting smaaaashed. Too slow, no sticking, he claims good boxing, but his punches are awkward, and he can’t finish. Serious;y, Jon Jones? C’mon bro…

This gave never ceases to amaze me:) To some people here (most) – just relax, it’s an entertainment, he’s just being funny in his own way, this is mma stand-up comedy for Christ sake. He’s a good wrestler, hard worker and better striker than people give him credit for, yet not so talented as many of the guys he’s fought and he’s a very clear underdog in the fight with Jones, who’s bigger, stronger, faster, more talented and whatever else. Sonnen has a pair of balls and determination. I wish him all the best in this David/Goliath match. He deserved it and the answer is in between the lines. Simply he was the only one who voluntered to fight Jones when it counted and UFC is paying him back. It’s that simple

And one observation. In the last fight I watched weight in and Sonnen looked like a living dead. He simply cut too much weight and looked like a victim of starvation in Auschwitz concentration camp and fought a bit letargic in my view. He should be in a healther condition now as he probably added 5-10 lbs of the muscle and has to cut 20lbs less than the last time.

Chael and Jon have great chemistry – I could watch any show with these two working together in it. A reality show where fighters try their hand at being promoters. Call it “Wolf Tickets”.
And Chael is a fantastic coach and just a real likable human being. When he’s not woofing, that is. Hand him some tickets, though, and he’ll wolf those away right quick. Good job, Chael.
