Both you guys are bitching about some dumb ass s***. The truth is Chael does not have PPV pay, because he said it himself, but on the flipside he’s finding ways to become ultra marketable. He admitted in confiding in using WWE wrestlers advice on how to handle and create hype. I saw B-Reals post with his video of him in the Gracies garage when they were creating the first UFC 1 flyers. He’s forreal about being apart of the creation of the UFC, but c’mon stop f****** using that s*** to gain respect. Sorry “MMAGiant” you’re just a geek with too much time on your hands and probably love Chael because he’s a typical brash American. So am I, but I still hate Chael Patrick Sonnens ass! You two are clowns!

JJ very well said. I have been a huge fan since the early 90′s and their are some fighters who rub me the wrong way like Jon Jones, LLoyd Woodard and Tyron Woodley but I still respect them for the hard work they put in and the dedication it took to get to where they are at. I particularly do not like to get punched in the face but I have a lot of friends who train and they share the same sentiment as you towards it.

B-real not sure what you wrote, you are very difficult to understand but Randy Couture was not the only person to recieve PPV revenues. Anderson Silva does and so does Tito Ortiz and Chuck Liddell and GSP. It seems you just blabbeled a lot without saying anything but trying to pick fun at me. I am not saying Chael is the greatest but I highly doubt the most he ever made in 1 fight is 40 G you are obviously just an idiot. Go back to pro wrestling. Obviously you have no clue what you are talking about. @mmagiantsliva – I agree with you. I’ll add that I train mma in real life, with real people, some of them are in the big ligues (and beat the crap out of me in ever sparring session) and I love it. One think you notice dealing with fighers and training hard yourself is respect for anyone who steps into the octagon and puts it on the line. 95% of the fighters or maybe closer to 100% respect each other, because they know what they have to go through to step in there and do this. As Kellerman said it’s as close to a street fight as you can get and any time I try to think more seriously about going and fighting (for $200 on the undercard of a local show obviously) I feel a mixture of a panic attack and adrenaline rush. It’s tough. So I respect Chael tremendously, just as I respect Silva … and Jones for that matter, although I believe he’s made a bad move. Chael’s approach is close to the way I see it. If you’re a pro fighger, and a champ, you fight whoever they put in front of you, any time of a day and night. Love Chael

I don’t hate Chael, I just don’t think he’s a great fighter. He say’s stuff that makes people laugh because he’s well spoken, candid, and has a sick mind, but he’s one of the most boring fighters I’ve ever seen. Can’t take a punch, so he cliches as quick as he can hide his face just like “MMAgiantpssy”…poor guy

First of all, you’re probably an MMA wannbe and have never fought in your life. Second, Fighter pay is posted by the althletic commission and it’s public record. Thord, no fight, except Randy Couture has rights to PPV percentages. Lastly, I was at UFC 1 and my family invested in the UFC to help it get off the ground. In front of me sits 60 ticket stubs to UFC. There’s almost no one that can match my passion and credibility brother. No hate, I just want people to Love fighters who liar’s. Chael is a convicted felon…nuff said.
