Log in to Reply Maynard August 28, 2012 has everyone realized Chael is good for MMA yet? Log in to Reply Martialist August 28, 2012 Exactly, “best TALKER,” not best fighter. Log in to Reply Teabonesteak August 28, 2012 “Delivery Available-Avoid a DUI Hahaha!” Chael must spend a lot of time reading MAD magazine. Log in to Reply Iron_Cobra August 28, 2012 max kellerman is the man Log in to Reply Kravmma August 28, 2012 Poor Chael. He thought the Ref was going to stop his fight with Silva, so he paused. Now that’s some Bullshit, but gospel to the pro Chael elite. I guess you’ll be posting this as fact on ever MMA blog or site, Yea that’s it, that why he lost. Further more, I’ve never known a Ref to stop a fight based on a knee to the chest. Opps, oh yes I have, it’s called a TKO. Hey wasn’t Chael the one saying ‘It’s just a fist fight on a Saturday night.’ Yet he’s waiting for an intervention – Somebody call the cops. Sad, so sad. Log in to Reply MMAGiantSilva August 28, 2012 As always great interview from Chael Log in to Reply B-Real August 28, 2012 Chael’s style is so wack. He couldn’t finish Silva or any of the past 10 guys he’s been in a ground fight with. Even if he won and made his followers happy, they would eventually get bored of his style. He’s not a great champ purely because his style is one dimensional and boring. I like Chael Sonnen, he’s pretty funny, but he has you all fooled. He contradicts himself and lies through his teeth. He only made $50,000 on the Bisbing fight and has never made more than $45k in any one night. Lastly, Charl is marketable and that’s what the UFC loves, but after people realize that he’s not really that great of a fighter, it’s over. I guarantee he’ll never be IB a championship fight after this all passes. On another note, Dana’s the only one who cancelled the event, so don’t blame the innocent(Greg Jackson and Jon jones). All single man sports athletes have to make calculated decisions before committing to a potentially life changing competition. Jon Jones has everything to lose and Chael had everything to gain. I know it doesn’t make Jon look like a great champion, but if you way the pros and cons of losing vs passing, there are 1000 reasons why passing on this fight makes more sense. I support Jon Jones and I’m still a huge fan of his work. He’s amazing to watch and that won’t change for me! God bless Jon Jones! Log in to Reply guy August 28, 2012 yeaaaa chael sonnen not a sports fan. awesome Log in to Reply Joe Dog August 28, 2012 Sonnen has small penis complex. Listening to him is painful. Anyone who does not think Jones would kill him is not paying attention. Log in to Reply MMAGiantSilva August 28, 2012 Whoever posted the long ridiculous post: do you truly believe the most Chael has ever made in one fight is 45 thousand bucks. I understand being a hater and all thats cool but at least do it honestly. Not only the numbers that are given out by UFC is what a fighter makes. You do not think Chael got a percentage of being 1/2 of the most marketable fight in UFC history. You dont believe his sponsors gave him any money. If so you are just a flamming retard. Log in to Reply MMAGiantSilva August 28, 2012 Err ^^^ talking about PPV revenue as it seems u probably dont even know it was the most marketable fight in UFC history. Second, Fighter pay is posted by the althletic commission and it’s public record. Thord, no fight, except Randy Couture has rights to PPV percentages. Lastly, I was at UFC 1 and my family invested in the UFC to help it get off the ground. In front of me sits 60 ticket stubs to UFC. There’s almost no one that can match my passion and credibility brother. No hate, I just want people to Love fighters who liar’s. Chael is a convicted felon…nuff said. Log in to Reply B-Real August 29, 2012 I don’t hate Chael, I just don’t think he’s a great fighter. He say’s stuff that makes people laugh because he’s well spoken, candid, and has a sick mind, but he’s one of the most boring fighters I’ve ever seen. Can’t take a punch, so he cliches as quick as he can hide his face just like “MMAgiantpssy”…poor guy Log in to Reply JJ August 29, 2012 @mmagiantsliva – I agree with you. I’ll add that I train mma in real life, with real people, some of them are in the big ligues (and beat the crap out of me in ever sparring session) and I love it. One think you notice dealing with fighers and training hard yourself is respect for anyone who steps into the octagon and puts it on the line. 95% of the fighters or maybe closer to 100% respect each other, because they know what they have to go through to step in there and do this. As Kellerman said it’s as close to a street fight as you can get and any time I try to think more seriously about going and fighting (for $200 on the undercard of a local show obviously) I feel a mixture of a panic attack and adrenaline rush. It’s tough. So I respect Chael tremendously, just as I respect Silva … and Jones for that matter, although I believe he’s made a bad move. Chael’s approach is close to the way I see it. If you’re a pro fighger, and a champ, you fight whoever they put in front of you, any time of a day and night. Love Chael Log in to Reply MMAGiantSilva August 29, 2012 B-real not sure what you wrote, you are very difficult to understand but Randy Couture was not the only person to recieve PPV revenues. Anderson Silva does and so does Tito Ortiz and Chuck Liddell and GSP. It seems you just blabbeled a lot without saying anything but trying to pick fun at me. I am not saying Chael is the greatest but I highly doubt the most he ever made in 1 fight is 40 G you are obviously just an idiot. Go back to pro wrestling. Obviously you have no clue what you are talking about. I have stated nothing but facts and you have stated some BS and some fake shit you made up along with making fun of my screen name speaking of B-real is a funny nickname for someone who is constantly making up shit. Log in to Reply MMAGiantSilva August 29, 2012 JJ very well said. I have been a huge fan since the early 90’s and their are some fighters who rub me the wrong way like Jon Jones, LLoyd Woodard and Tyron Woodley but I still respect them for the hard work they put in and the dedication it took to get to where they are at. I particularly do not like to get punched in the face but I have a lot of friends who train and they share the same sentiment as you towards it. Log in to Reply MMAGiantSilva August 29, 2012 Anyways B-fake sorry I had to put your lying ass on blast like that. But I feel someone had to do it. You can not just make up shit and pass it off as fact. you can go back to making fun of my screen name since you are all butt hurt you got called out for saying preposterous shit. Log in to Reply Dan Blankenship August 30, 2012 If Chael could punch hard, he would be champ. It is the fact that he cannot punch with power that keeps him from being champ. He is a great wrestler though. Log in to Reply Fan O' Chael August 31, 2012 To both “Mmagiantsilva” and “B-Real” Both you guys are bitching about some dumb ass shit. The truth is Chael does not have PPV pay, because he said it himself, but on the flipside he’s finding ways to become ultra marketable. He admitted in confiding in using WWE wrestlers advice on how to handle and create hype. I saw B-Reals post with his video of him in the Gracies garage when they were creating the first UFC 1 flyers. He’s forreal about being apart of the creation of the UFC, but c’mon stop ****ing using that shit to gain respect. Sorry “MMAGiant” you’re just a geek with too much time on your hands and probably love Chael because he’s a typical brash American. So am I, but I still hate Chael Patrick Sonnens ass! You two are clowns! Log in to Reply Leave a Reply Cancel reply You must be logged in to post a comment.
