Chael Sonnen Licks Rashad Evans’ Shoe After Bad Bet.

Chael Sonnen said that if Dan Henderson lost to Lyoto Machida at UFC 157, he would lick Rashad Evans’ shoe. Hendo lost, Sonnen paid up.

lol he is definitly a man of his word even though i do not feel Machida won a “fight” he ran most of the time and Hendo landed the cleaner more effective striking but it is hard to judge a match where one guy gets hit 10 times and one 8.

David your recollection of that incident is really poor. Chael issued Anderson Silva a bet that if he were to win Chael would leave the UFC. Afterwards Silva did not accept the bet. For practically a year Silva spoke about how Chael was unworthy. So Silva turns the bet down. 1 year later they fight there is no longer a bet. Sonnen picked up 2 quality wins in Bisping and destroying Stann since said bet. Afterwards they fight and Chael losses, no bet anymore he even said prior to the fight no bet anymore. Therefore if anyone is not a man of his word it would be Silva even though he is the better fighter. Sorry to spit so much truth at you David you had a cute story.
