Wow you are correct about Chael having very little chance at actually dethroning Jones. But to say he is a bigger stronger Silva is equally retarded on your part. He is bigger – yes, He is stronger – maybe. But even myself ( an Anderson Silva hater) can see his skills and abilities are way beyond JJ’s its not even close. And so the downhill slide begins. 205 is not a good weight class for Chael. He will come in in sub-par shape and FG is still no joke. Calling him a can is a mistake. Is he top 5 at 205? No. But he’s still a tough dude who will give Chael a run for his money.
As for Chael beating Jon Jones it will never, ever happen. Jones would toy with Chael on his feet, stuff all takedowns easily and knock him out. It would be like the SIlva fight, minus the first round.

@222222222 I’m going to have to disagree with you on a few points. First of all, weight classes are different than ‘walking around weight’, which is a real indicator of your size and strength. Jon Jones is a much larger individual and as soon as he makes weight at 205, he’ll be on his way back up to his walking around weight. Fighters don’t enter the ring at the same weight as weigh ins.
Secondly, Jones has faced a very competent wrestler in Matt Hamill. Hamill was a 3 time Div III champion. Jones is also an accomplished wrestler having wrestled in Iowa and won a championship there a few times. Will Sonnen and Jones be a good fight? Probably not in my opinion because Silva was able to stuff Sonnen’s take-downs which seemed to lead to Chael getting out of his game plan.
Time will tell I suppose.

Chael called out Anderson right after the Stann fight and issued his challenge/offer.
Silva declined and put off the fight, then hoping Sonnen would lose to Bisping which didn’t happen.
If Anderson had accepted and won, Sonnen probably still would have gone back on his word after the fight though cuz he’s the best troll/trash talker the sports world has ever seen.

Now… I don’t want to bring up this point. More or less the Sonnen Fan Boys are going to lose their mind…. but, Chael never shines in the spotlight…. the guy has a big mouth, but always fails. Jones is a Beast, i am a Huge Silva fan but i couldnt see Silva beating him but he could of course he’s the Spider and his ability to not get hit, and to strike from anywhere at any time is sick, Bones is taller, walks around heavier, more unpredicatble and more willing to take a risk,
