Jones comes across as a huge a-hole

Xformat Says, in 9-17-2013 at 10:48:20 from

Say what you want about Chael, he is brilliant with a microphone and will always, ALWAYS have a job as an announcer. :D

God Chael is good.

*sigh*… I read the comments and immediately thought, ‘Of course.. Jones Haters & Chael Lovers…’ Then I watched the video..
Jones comes across as a huge asshole and God Chael is good.

Say what you like about… oh, someone already wrote that.

After Bruce Buffer decides to hang up the microphone, i would like to see Chael anouncing. many years may pass pass before that though

I thought Chael and Jones were good together. I don’t know how humble people expect Jones to be, but he has to be confident and he is the best in the world so he has to believe that first before everyone else can believe it. Everyone has to do what they have to do to stay in a championship mind set and I think this is Jones being Jones. I didn’t think he was a d*ck

shocktime Says, in 9-17-2013 at 17:44:25 from

Jones ain’t a A hole. He’s just not comfortable in front of the camera. Gustafasson is just like Jones in front of the camera. Chael is super comfortable and has a great personality for TV.

Ground St. Pound Says, in 9-17-2013 at 19:28:44 from

War Jon Jones. Keep pissing off these sensitive fans. What did Jones do except crack jokes back at Chael and show he actually likes him? That’s an a-hole???

Sic6sic Says, in 9-17-2013 at 19:41:06 from

That was awesome! Made me laugh. Like both guys. Chael has a job on tv announcing if he wants!

Noel Says, in 9-17-2013 at 20:01:17 from

Jones comes across as pretty cool here. There’s something wrong with the people who think he’s an a-hole.

drunkentigah Says, in 9-17-2013 at 21:09:26 from

wow I’m not a huge fan of Chael but you gotta give it to him. He knows how to be professional and work a camera.

Sonnen is a really funny guy and a great coach, he’s been training at Team Quest all this week and the dude is a beast on the mat.

Strange how people fail to see his game, it’s an ACT to get fools to buy into his fights and personality, he CASHES IN that act to get paid like an actor or politician, get it?

kung fu k9 Says, in 9-17-2013 at 21:58:06 from

i don’t care for jones but i wonder if those that complain about jones…how would they act/be if they had UFC gold, the money, the notoriety & the title of being the best fighter in the world…

i bet many that whine would be in fact be the poster childs for “d!ckhead”.

pfft Says, in 9-17-2013 at 22:05:36 from

ha, good banter back and forth between them both..its funny when you read comments first then see something quite opposite to the opinions of some very single minded people.

sammy Says, in 9-18-2013 at 01:51:12 from

ahh bunch of haters. It’s just good banter, but of course the dark guy is always in the wrong somehow

greengiant Says, in 9-18-2013 at 05:57:42 from

@Ground St. Pound – Yea right pal you might not be very smart if you can’t see through that phoney. Its not “sensitive fans” its “real fans” who choose to see whats really there rather then have a blind fold on. I don’t care what anyone says the way a fighter carries them self and their honor, respect is way more important then how good of a fighter they are.

greengiant Says, in 9-18-2013 at 06:00:44 from

I will say though that jones comes across as better then usual here. He still has a smug act and makes douchy comments like “I can just buy 18 thousand of them”. Its not always what he says as how he says it. You can clearly see this guy thinks he is more important then everyone else in the world throughout all his interviews. If you don’t see that either you need to take the blindfold off or maybe you just don’t have the ability to see through people.

panman Says, in 9-18-2013 at 12:44:19 from

Chael Is the man!

shocktime Says, in 9-18-2013 at 13:49:43 from

I’m going to say this again Jon Jones is not a A-hole or cocky. Not anymore cocky/confident than a professional fighter needs to be to get in a ring with another grown man that’s trying to maul him. How many here have actually been in a sanctioned fight? Yeah I thought so.
Want to see cocky and A-hole? Google Floyd Mayweather, although Google probably isn’t necessary I’m sure you’ve heard of him. And to Floyds credit he backs it up in the ring unlike Chael Sonnen.

dankarelli Says, in 9-18-2013 at 15:49:20 from

Jones came across fine, as did chael and I really enjoyed this interview and the fun back and forth banter. Why do people hates Jones so much? He’s an exciting fighter which – I ASSUME – is the reason people watch people fight.
what’s with all the hate? I don’t get it. But then again I have a life, so maybe if people actually got their own they would have less time to complain that a super exciting fighter and arguable one of the best P4P guys is an “Asshole”

dragoman Says, in 9-18-2013 at 16:34:04 from

jones didn’t seem that bad, i mean he seems pretty honest and doesnt have fake modesty. and chael jibbed him with the motorcycle so he simply countered with the 18 thousand comment, no problem there. chael is so good with the mic

Ground St. Pound Says, in 9-18-2013 at 20:38:39 from

@greengiant – he didn’t say he would buy 18 thousand of them. He said he guessed he would just have to spend the 18 thousand to get it since he didn’t win it.

Prime example of haters seeing through hating eyes. But congratulations on taking the blindfold off.

Facefrack Says, in 9-20-2013 at 02:23:07 from

That was an excellent interview. I’m especially impressed with Chael for being so professional, but also for sitting next to someone who beat him handily n maintaining total composure. For real, if Bruce Buffer ever goes, there is no one who would be better at introducing the fighters.
