Carlos Condit Would Like To Fight Anderson Silva Next After Win Over GSP.

so carlos condit may want to be the president too,,,I dont see him beating chael Sonnen,Brian Stann, cung lee soo he has the potential for sure but he needs to get through gsp and after a few more title fights and it may be interesting if he takes a couple guys out at 185 but it sounds like a bonnar match right now up to me.it is understandable that he wants to take on the best like when machida and shogun wanted to fight brock
Ariel annoys me but glad he asked that last question.
Used to really like Clay
Used to really like Carlos
LOL Condit beating GSP than beating anderson silva would be the most shocking thing of all time
fkin nervous for this one. well, i’m always nervous for GSP fights and that’s why he’s always a favorite. I like Anderson, but his fights don’t get me as excited because it’s 99% probability he will win.. With GSP, its a good 60-40 or even a 55-45 that he will win. Condit has a good chance to win, but I’m rooting for GSP.
i agree ozinator. carlos summed it up with that last comment. he’s fighting not to lose. snoozefest coming saturday. carlos by running or gsp by wrestle-hump. either way its gonna be a let down. neither guy is gonna make the other fight. lame
Dub says – With GSP, its a good 60-40 or even a 55-45 that he will win.
BS. GSP is 22-2, thats means he wins over 90% of his fights.
hahaha funny Carlos
“Carlos Condit Would Like To Fight Anderson Silva”
Translation: Carlos Condit Would Like To RUN from Anderson Silva just like he did Diaz
@ ME:
I’m not talking about his win stats. That is different from his chances of winning in a single fight. So from your logic, a nobody who as fought 1 time in a back yard against a kid and won has 100% chance of winning against Anderson Silva. After all, his record is 1-0 and that is 100% winning.
Carlos Condit is a f****** BEAST! Keep talking through you’re keyboards, and for the record, Diaz, yeah, he wooped that ass and I think he would really be a good match up against Anderson Silva
False, no one liked the way Condit fought against Diaz. Some Condit fans decided to stay loyal to him and hate on Diaz, but no one liked his performance. It was s***.
Carlos would be an easier fight for Anderson then Bonnar, much easier.
Carlos is gonna knock that last S out of Georges.
Put Jon Jones on the list too…and Cigano next…
Carlos won`t beat GSP running around , GSP wont let him run around . And besides you have to beat the champ to be the champ and pulling a Diaz vs Condit win wont work .
I’m so tired of people talking $hite about condit vs. diaz.he was “running the whole time”yet he outstruck diaz.If you wanna fault someone it would have to be the mma fighter who does not know how to cut off the cage.why chase a guy for 25min when you can just cut him off.as for gsp’s lay and pray(sonnens style)…please, every fighter knows georges style, they study tape.If they can’t get/fight off their backs then they are not complete enough to challenge gsp’s super effective style.georges has as many stoppages as sub wins and decisions perfect triangle=complete fighter.
CONDIT will get this one..
Carlos “The Natural Born Spoiler” Condit
you mean: Carlos “The Natural Born Sprinter” Condit
LOL …. run forest run
Yeah, Condid is so boring, out of his 28 wins only 26 were finishes. He obviously does not know how to fight. Let’s all hate him even more.
(I liked the Diaz fight, thought carlos kicked his butt)
^^^^^don;’t put words in other people’s mouths. I was disappointed with the Diaz fight because it was unexpected. However, I thought it was a very impressive performance and I applaud carlos for it.
For the record, anyone who changes their opinion of a fighter based on one fight is a simpleton (with some exceptions of course). And it sure seems like a lot of ppl turned on condit for having one fight that wasn’t what they wanted. Some very shameful and simplistic fans we have in this sport. Possibly as bad as Toronto Maple Leaf fans, who are some of the least loyal in all of sports. Also, please understand that I am no better than anyone else ![]()
doesn’t anyone here believe that Condit could possibly win on points??? I think the only way he wins is by finish. Therefore if I was Condit…
I see GSP pressing up Carlos on the cage then eventually taking him down and doing a lot of those grinding punches
@Lodovik Thank you, I was going to say. He has one fight go to decision in a long time and people bash him for it… Amazing…
People forget how he obliterated Dong Hyun Kim with a flying knee.
Demolished Rory MacDonald’s face to make him look like that giant from the movie Big Fish.
Put Dan Hardy to sleep with a punch to the dome…
But he’s a real runner right?
Seriously stop watching the sport if you can’t handle watching a fight go to decision. Nick Diaz doesn’t get knocked out very easily, obviously. Some people just don’t get knocked out or submitted. *cough BJ Penn*…
Did you expect Diaz to win the fight by walking forward? He was out struck.
Keep talking and complaining about the Diaz v Condit fight, maybe the verdict will change if you do so.
I’m also sure Nick Diaz is still complaining too.. Boo hoo hoo.
If you want to feel bad about a real fighter, feel bad for Frankie Edgar. That belt was truly robbed. But that’s another topic for another day.
In regards to GSP and Condit, I love them both. But I want Condit to win slightly more to give others a chance as champs. GSP has been pretty boring lately.
^^^^^DOOOD! Dittos and props on the entire post. My toughts exactly! War Carlos!
I watched the Condit vs. Diaz fight several times n think that in a sense it was too close to call. Condit definitely needed to avoid being pinned up against the cage for a barrage of punches, but he was also back-peddling full stride while Diaz continually tried to walk him down, exasperated that he couldn’t get Condit to engage. Condit landed more significant strikes, which he should be commended for, but Diaz probably put Condit in more danger overall. I have a hard time really calling Condit the winner. Don’t get me wrong, I actually really like Condit – and Diaz for that matter – but I hope that he forms a more engaging game plan for GSP. If GSP really is as healthy as he claims, I think the fight will likely go to the ground n the real question will be whether Condit can keep GSP in his guard. Condit’s guard is actually fantastic, but GSP generally passes as well as anyone in the sport.
I would be much more interested to see GSP fight the Spider than Condit, because he is stylistically much more likely to give Anderson problems. GSP, assuming his knee is healthy, is among the most explosive people in the sport n has excellent takedowns n top-control, which is Silva’s weakness. He is also more disciplined than Sonnen is, so he is less likely to get caught in an armbar or a triangle choke. Silva’s got an advantage over mostly anybody on the feet n GSP really doesn’t knock people out very much.
I am much more interested in the prospect of a Silva vs. GSP superfight than I would be if Silva fought Jon Jones (I don’t mean I wouldn’t be bouncing off the walls if that fight happened). Silva’s best weapon is probably those devastating knees of his, but it would be unwise for him to try to use them with Bones, because his best chance for survival is to stay out of clinch situations. Jones is 6’4″ n the Thai plum works much better against shorter fighters, particularly those who aren’t elite greco-roman wrestlers. I imagine Jones would rag-doll Silva then end the fight with devastating elbows. Bones vs. Dos Santos, or Cain Velasquez, however, would be another story entirely. I’m not saying he couldn’t win, but those dudes are beasts… Bones’ future is in heavyweight n even though there are a few light-heavy fights I’d still really like to see, his move up will be interesting.
I’m thinking that trying to play safe by restraining himself might work in GSP’s favor
Watch out Carlos, anderson cheats! but if he fights fair Carlos would easily beat anderson!
