^^come on that was a good fight, carlos is such a dangerous and crafty guy, its really hard to put him in a bad position, let alone finish him. as great as Hendrix is, that’s was a good fight overall.

If this would have gone into ‘championship rounds’, Johny would have gassed. If he gets GSP next, I don’t think he will fare as well as Condit did with GSP. Impressed again with Condit, not so much with Hendricks, but they both threw it all in at the end.

Very good fight,Johny is nuts.This one pretty much saved the whole event,it was a lot of fun.It always is when both guys go 100% without humping each other like GSP did for the 2st two rounds.
Johny had a lot of takedowns but that’s far from lay and pray.

Congratulations to Condit for his high level display of striking and combinations, Condit’s style always a pleasure to the MMA fan eye. In my opinion he got robbed by the judges.

How can you guys call yourself MMA fans and say that this fight was better than the Diaz/GSP fight? I don’t think i would even call it a good fight, because Condit was the only one who performed well. Hendricks sucks balls.. He took COndit down and did absolutely nothing! GSP takes you down and will pass guard as he ground and pounds you. The only reason the GSP/Diaz fight might not have been as good is because Nick had no answer for anything.

No doubt a pretty good fight. Condit was never in any danger when on the ground. I give Hendricks the takedown, BUT… what good is a take down if you never put your the other man in danger. Unanimous decision R U KIDDING ME. Split decision at best.

Johny proved he was dangerous the first 3 minutes of a fight,then his ape arm swinging punch who could kill a buffalo become useless when he’s a gassed.He’s lucky takedown are worth 10 points and getting dropped by a combo is worth 1 point in MMA scoring or he would’ve lost all 3 rounds.Maybe he would’ve won the 1st,but he clearly lost 2 and 3.Didn’t land s*** on the ground.Couldn’t keep Carlos there and he took more damage on the ground then he gave.This fight should be the example of takedowns who score 0 points.NONE of his takedowns did points.

If you can take a guy down, good. If you hold him down and negate his offense, great. If you can KO him or sub him on the ground, even better. But, why is taking a guy down, letting him get right back up, taking shots, and sub attempts, why is that seen as such an offensive achievement? If anything, if all ur doing is taking him down in order to avoid taking more shots to ur dome, it should definitely be seen as a defensive action. And like Diaz (who’s usually a total mongoloid) said “Nobody wants to talk about it.”

@ anyone who calls wrestling ‘boring’ or thinks that it’s ‘easy’ or ‘safe’… go try it.
I’ve done professional cage fights and I’ve had amateur wrestling matches. I get more beaten up doing wrestling, the injuries I’ve had are far worse, and it’s more physically exhausting and draining than you could possibly imagine. Wrestling is the hardest part of fighting.
Picking somebody up and repeatedly dumping them on the ground is not easy. It’s exhausting. And it causes damage. And it shows dominance. I don’t like LNP style fighters, but this was an incredibly exciting fight, with a clear winner, 2 rounds to 1 (Hendricks). I agree that it was close, but Johny definitely won. If you don’t like wrestling, then watch boxing or kickboxing. Saying things like ‘thanks for taking wrestling out of the Olympics’ shows your ignorance.
