hdhw- It does make sense. Bout is scored on effective striking , grappling, aggression, and octagon control. Condit wins striking by 42 strikes(62 leg strikes to 6) but i wouldn’t call those leg strikes effective. Arguably no grappling. Aggression and octagon control obviously go to Diaz. So if they are aggressive and control the octagon they can win, you are wrong. When they add backing up and sissy-kickking at someone, then i give it to condit

I disagree. Diaz didn’t land significant strikes, Condit beat quite a lot of crap out of him. Look at the press conference video. Diaz looks ugly, Condit looks happy. I agree that not ALL of Condit’s kicks were strong, but NONE of Diaz’ were. I agree that not ALL of Condit’s strikes were strong… but I would say more of them were strong than Diaz’
(Diaz did have one good moment against the cage with some solid body shots)

Love the diaz brothers fighting style, but carlos did win that fight clearly. I wasn’t like he was jumping like a monkey like guida did against maynard. He tagged diaz a lot, he made it a smart fight. Standing in front of nick isn’t smart, that dude will pick you apart and eat your shots like scrambled eggs at breakfast.
