Diaz has this. Carlos is a great guy and he has great Muay-Thai skills, but Diaz has the whole package. Insane cardio, BJJ and he’s a great boxer. They should have had this fight instead just giving it to Diaz AFTER they gave it to Condit. I really wish GSP wasn’t hurt. When he comes back he wont be all pissed off and fired-up like he was for Koscheck. He was a beast in that fight. Still no finish though. Anyway, I love both these guys.

Some of the Daniel’s out there actually have something to say. It’s just a shame they were too high to pay attention in English class. I pity people like this because while it’s painfully evident that there is emotion, he just isn’t smart enough to articulate his thoughts properly. It comes off like a child throwing a tantrum.

Nobody out there truly belives GSP faked a ligament tear; I hope not anyway. There are just a whole lot of dummies out there who don’t know how to convey their thoughts.

I wouldn’t use ‘ducking’ to describe the turn of events but it’s all suspect.

Notwithstanding most of what he wrote, I think Daniel was suggesting that it was completely GSP’s doing to have Nick removed from the card in the first place and to that end I agree. Not showing up for a presser has never been grounds for cancelling a fight. for some will prove impossible, but try to see it from Nick’s perspective. He’s been a champion for years now and he’s never shown up to one of these. Fine? whatever but no way in hell did he think he’d be dropped from the card. Lesson learned but I truly believe it’s as simple as that.

This will be a better fight than GSP vs. Diaz. Condit has good Muay Thai skills and can bang with Nick and has a very sick guard on the ground, as well.

Condit did get manhandled by Jake Ellenberger so Diaz may sub him but than again Diaz likes to bang like Condit.

I think this a great #1 contender match up. Condit doesn’t get leap-frogged and Diaz has to fight his way to the title like everyone else. I’m looking forward to this.

I’m with Daylisky, seems like some of you haven’t been watching Condit’s fights. Nick Diaz is a great fighter, but he’s beatable. Just because he beat BJ Penn doesn’t make him some sort of god. Condit previous fights have all been extremely dominant performances, taking out major contenders with ease. This will be a great fight. I’m not sure that Diaz has the one hit knockout power to take out Condit. Condit definitely has that one hit knockout power, but Diaz has a face like a baseball glove and a solid chin. Definitely going to be a brawl.

Anybody saying gsp is avoiding nick diaz is foolish. He got injured and didn’t take enough time to heal and pushed his body too far and tore his acl. If anything, diaz was scared of gsp and thats why he didnt show up to the two press conferences. This fight will be absolutely amazing. Can’t wait, but i do see diaz winning based on his amazing striking and beyond amazing cardio..not to mention his amazing jitz. Don’t get me wrong, condit is great, but diaz is better in every aspect..except for maybe wrestling.
