Nick Diaz will destroy Carlos Condit like BJ Penn… Carlos will put in hospital for one week. Nick Diaz no doubt he is the true championship. I’m looking forward to see Nick Diaz vs GSP. Diaz will no doubt be the interim champ. Condit has no shot. And GSP does appear to be ducking Diaz. I mean after Diaz gets up and calls him out, tells the world he is scared and hurts his image, then he still avoids the fight? Diaz fights hurt all the time and wins. GSP cancels fights unless he is 100% and still just practices lay and hump. GSP is scared of Diaz it seems. He is truly hoping Condit beats him so he doesn’t have to fight him. GSP is turning this into a Tito vs Chuck thing and that didn’t work out too well for Tito.

I think people aren’t completely understanding how dropping out of a fight works in the UFC: you go to the UFC doctors, they take a look at your injury and then they make a decision whether or not you can fight.
So people claiming that GSP and Silva are ducking fights need to become aware that this is not possible under current UFC rules.
Maybe if YOU trained MMA once in a while on a level even remotely close to the level of intensity these champions do, you’d better understand how it’s possible to get injured…

Finaly someone who makes sense.casyboy and daniel are two numnuts who dont know anything about GSP or who he is.They don’t understand how much GSP trains and wants to be the best.He trains the Sunday morning after his fight if he physically can.He trains EVERY DAY.Everyone else take 1 week or 2 after a fight he starts to train right after to be the best.You can’t fake a torn ACL.
Also lets be intelligent here guys.Do you guys serisously think GSP is scared of Diaz after beatong Fitch Koschceck twice,Matt Hughes twice,BJ tiwce,and Shields.Especially to a guy who lost to Parisyan(who GSP beat),Sherk(who GSP also beat),Sanchez and Riggs.Nick is good but so is everyone who fought GSP before.They are good but looked like they didnt deserve to fight in the same league as GSP.GSP wont just stand there and eat 500 punches while beign gassed like Penn.And if you guys remeber the first minutes of Penn vs Diaz,Bj was outboxing Nick until he gassed.And he didnt just outbox him he kicked his ass without getting hit.And BJ was out of shape for that fight.When he Penn fought GSP he got taken down at will and even outstriked by GSP.Nick will get put on his ass and beated.If diaz a world BJJ champ cant submit GSP I dont think Nick can do it.Especially after getting hit and taken down all night long.

People mention GSP when discussing “nice guys in MMA”, but GSP has resorted to name calling and character judgement from time to time. Especially towards Koscheck and now, more recently, Nick Diaz. Calling him disrespectful and a bane to the sport, which may or may not be true. But when Carlos talks about Diaz, he mentions how he’s exciting, and a great fighter with great skills, which is what really matters. A man like Condit who has fought in MMA and Kickboxing matches in places like Bosnia, and Juarez Mexico is not gonna care what vomit comes out of your mouth. Class act that Condit.

Anybody saying gsp is avoiding nick diaz is foolish. He got injured and didn’t take enough time to heal and pushed his body too far and tore his acl. If anything, diaz was scared of gsp and thats why he didnt show up to the two press conferences. This fight will be absolutely amazing. Can’t wait, but i do see diaz winning based on his amazing striking and beyond amazing cardio..not to mention his amazing jitz. Don’t get me wrong, condit is great, but diaz is better in every aspect..except for maybe wrestling.

I’m with Daylisky, seems like some of you haven’t been watching Condit’s fights. Nick Diaz is a great fighter, but he’s beatable. Just because he beat BJ Penn doesn’t make him some sort of god. Condit previous fights have all been extremely dominant performances, taking out major contenders with ease. This will be a great fight. I’m not sure that Diaz has the one hit knockout power to take out Condit. Condit definitely has that one hit knockout power, but Diaz has a face like a baseball glove and a solid chin. Definitely going to be a brawl.

I wouldn’t use ‘ducking’ to describe the turn of events but it’s all suspect.
Notwithstanding most of what he wrote, I think Daniel was suggesting that it was completely GSP’s doing to have Nick removed from the card in the first place and to that end I agree. Not showing up for a presser has never been grounds for cancelling a fight. for some will prove impossible, but try to see it from Nick’s perspective. He’s been a champion for years now and he’s never shown up to one of these. Fine? whatever but no way in hell did he think he’d be dropped from the card. Lesson learned but I truly believe it’s as simple as that.

Some of the Daniel’s out there actually have something to say. It’s just a shame they were too high to pay attention in English class. I pity people like this because while it’s painfully evident that there is emotion, he just isn’t smart enough to articulate his thoughts properly. It comes off like a child throwing a tantrum.
Nobody out there truly belives GSP faked a ligament tear; I hope not anyway. There are just a whole lot of dummies out there who don’t know how to convey their thoughts.

Diaz has this. Carlos is a great guy and he has great Muay-Thai skills, but Diaz has the whole package. Insane cardio, BJJ and he’s a great boxer. They should have had this fight instead just giving it to Diaz AFTER they gave it to Condit. I really wish GSP wasn’t hurt. When he comes back he wont be all pissed off and fired-up like he was for Koscheck. He was a beast in that fight. Still no finish though. Anyway, I love both these guys.
