Cain is a beast. He needs to work on all aspects of his game though, his boxing could be tighter, his wrestling is great though. Can’t wait to see him improve.

that’s exactly what a HW fight in the UFC should be.. i’m sick of all these guys coming in and gassing in 45 sec.. and then going to the world’s most boring decision.. whether it’s a KO or Submission.. the UFC’s HW division needs to start getting the job done.. and it looks like Cain is looking to do just that..

Also, either Mazagatti heard all of the gripes about early stoppages or he has different standards for heavyweights because he let that fight go pretty long.

X2486, it’s called muscle density - it comes from great toning. If one guy looks to be the same size as another but outweighs him, odds are he’s more toned and he has muscle weight that the other doesn’t have.

Given that Cain seemed to have plenty of cardio, my guess is that he’s at a great fitness level right now, so no great surprise that he’s weighing in a little heavier b/c of some good muscle density and tone.

Steve Mazaghatti is the fucking worst referee in MMA, every fight is overall full of bad calls. Always says stuff that is not called for, and never recognizes when fights should stop or should keep going. It’s almost as if he gets it backwards.

Mazzagati is hands down the WORST official in UFC. What a total incompetent! First him and his bad attitude causes him to screw Lesnar who was well on his way to squashing Mir until Mazzagatti stepped a good 2 times at inappropriate moments. Now he lets the next guy get his damn skull caved in before he decides to end it. There were AT LEAST 3 times that he should have stepped in and stopped this thing.

My conclusions? Valasquez looks like a good prospect. Mazzagatti looks like an incompetent ass.

Yea Mazzagatti let that one go it wasn’t too bad but easily should of been stopped a good 10 seconds before he decided to jump in finally.

As for Cain looks decent but need to throw someone in there who is a little better. No ground gamers though he didn’t look to comfy rolling but he’s got hands.

Brad deserves a lot of respect for getting to the big stage and having the courage to compete at the highest levels. He’ll come back strong next time. He has a training log online so google it. He’s a hardcore mofo and one hell of a nice guy. He’s a class act all around.
