God I bet this german guy does so well against guys that aren’t Buakaw. He looked great, but against Buakaw he just looked slow. Buakaw’s counter elbow to the spinning backfist was scary. What a vicious man. He seems to be able to score at will. He’s so strong, and his standing kicks are soooo fast. He goes relentlessly to the body with his kicks and knees and they really take the explosiveness out of his opponents. He’s just a complete animal. When the Zombie apocalypse comes, I’m recruiting Buakaw to join my team with Cain Velasquez, Nick Diaz and Bas Rutten.

why do the announcers say ‘good high kick from buakaw’ and it is blocked….they’ll also say ‘good combination’ and maybe only 1 part of it lands…

Yeah, those guys were such beasts!!! Anytime you find something like this, Bruno – these high-level Muay Thai types of fights – I’d love to watch them. And seriously, Danada, in the event of a zombie apocalypse, Let’s band together. We’ll all bring ruckus! But if it turns out that we all gotta be zombies in the end, I can think of no one I’d prefer to munch human limbs with than Bas Rutten. Sometimes a brother’s just gotta be a zombie.

@jonnyx it’s what announcers do when they’re such a fan of somebody.. they can’t help it. Rogan does it A LOT off late.

Buakaw is the GOAT of Muay Thai!!!

His timing and counters are so perfect and filled with strength, speed, and technique!!! Its no wonder he annihilates his opponents!!

I would really love to see what he could do in the UFC. I believe his style is perfected for MMA because he fought so many San Shao fighters that his take down defense is actually an offense. So it would be almost impossible to take him down. That would be his only weakness I’m guessing being on the ground. But before any fighter can get him there, he would KO them!!
