Is starting Brock Lesnar out with a bigger and more seasoned fighter the right thing to do? Most people think not.

Brock Lesnar’s 2001 mug shots
If his football career taught us anything about him it is that when he can’t dominate and have everything his way he just gives up. With Choi being the more technically accurate stand up fighter, Choi should control Lesnar with jabs and strait shots. Choi may even be the stronger of the two when standing.
Without Lesnar being able to take Choi to the ground and use his best skills it should be a easy night for the Korean giant. Being a strong wrestler does not give you as great of an advantage in K-1 as it does in other MMA like cage fighting.
Although Brock Lesnar was a great collegiate wrestler, it just won’t transition over to a great K-1 fighter. If he can make the move over to a form of MMA that he can use his ground game he will be O.K. I hope that I am wrong on this one for his sake but don’t count on it.

This fight could be ugly. Just expect the taller of the two uglies to be left standing in the end.
