The bout took place in the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, Los Angeles, California, USA on June 2, 2007.
3 times wwe champion……lol
huh? why’d he tap(his opponent)? Pretty good debut other then that random tappage. He dominated a large judo guy on the ground.
Lay n pray
min soo kim had 2 wins, 5 losses???
who the heck was that all yelling was it goldberg?
@Danby, people have tapped due to strikes before. Not sure what your so confused about. He couldn’t get out of the dominant position and was getting punched hard in the face so gave up. Brock is a beast on top, just ask the best submission hwywt in the game, Frank Mir. And this was his very first fight with little training. Overeem is gonna be in for a world of hurt if Lesnar is able to secure the early takedown.
Lol @ Goldberg.
If Brock still looked as fresh today, he’d give Overeem serious trouble.
Nowadays, not so much. Should still be interesting though.
impressive, brock showed a lot of technique and skill in going donkey kong on some can
LOL cecil peoples! probably the worst judge and ref..ever. Announcer got f****** stoked!
The lesnar Overeem fight will depend on Brock getting the takedown like in this fight.
Who was “the big headed guy” Lesnar was refrring to ??
@Biggle B.A. the difference is that he pounded on mir for a very long time. This guy gave up and he doesn’t even have a mark on his face.
I wasn’t the one on the ground so maybe it was just extra brutal, i’ve just never seen someone tap so quickly while pretty much ok.
Look at brock and carwin. Brock got brutalized yet still didnt tap. maybe i’ve just become accustomed to punishment gluttons ![]()
Brock is a Beast!
Brock’s such a knob and I can see him getting “brutalized” again this Friday.
FAKE !!!!! and i like Brock !!!
I learned a long time ago that beating the s*** out of Asians doesn’t mean or prove a whole lot. No offense to any Asians but it’s true.
@Danby, agreed. This guy just wasn’t as tough as those others.
Funny how he acts so cocky against such a shitty opponent…..reminds me of when he was shooting little squirrels with his .50 cal rifle, acting like he was a bad ass….what a loser, cant wait for OverReem to remove the last piece of intestine.
Lets hope Brock smashes Overroid the same way.
Over-Roids will beat the living s*** out of Lesner in memory of all those harmless little prarie dogs that were blown to bits by Lesnar…Being on steroids will also help in the ass kicking!
watch when they show the replay….those punches weren’t fake. why do you think Frank Mir hated this guy so bad? for a fake fighter to come in and be able to just ferociously pound peoples faces like that??? c’mon man. he’s the real deal. the biggest mistake he ever made was trimming down and trying to become a well rounded fighter. he should go for the big roid beast thing again. that s*** wins fights
Dont forget people, for the last two years weve seen a brock who said he was ill and unable to train to his full potential due to his health issues. we will see if a different brock steps in there for his comeback fight aginst the reem !!!
I wish brock has a warm up fight first. He’s been off a long time and coming off surgery. I don’t think overreem is a good guy to work the rust off with.
Its gonna be interesting. Not really sure how this match will go.
Brock will do the same to Overroid. Overroid doesn’t have Carwin’s or Velasquez’s TDD or the ability to get up. Once Brock take’s him down he will control him from the top and then ground and pound a tko win. The fight depends on Brock taking it to the ground and with Overroid having no wrestling background unlike his last two opponents who were good wrestlers and strikers he will dominate. Also I dont think everyone realise’s how hungry Brock is for a win. After his first loss to Mir he came in and destroyed Herring a guy with way more expierence and a legitimate opponent. After his last loss to Cain he’s hungry to get back on top. And since the time off didnt stop him from beating Carwin I dont see it affecting him now. He’s in better shape than ever with the successful surgery. I think we’ll see the Brock that ended Heath Herring’s career Friday night and if so Overroid is in for one nasty welcome to the UFC.
I dont understand why Alistair is constantly referred to as a steroid user when hes taller than Brock but Brock still outweighs him. Brock has been sick twice from roid overuse perhaps Alistair can be blamed for that.
