Bowles looked awkward in this fight. He seemed temptative from the beginning. Nonetheless, Faber didn’t give him a chance to get into the fight.
I don’t mind watching Faber v. Cruz again. Faber will come and try to rip Cruz’s head from his body. It will be interesting to see how Cruz will adapt to that level of aggression.

I love the fighters that come from Faber’s Team Alpha Male school! They turn wrestlers into mad pit bull killers!! Fabers stand up looked very good this time. He was throwing combos instead of just wrestling his way through it. He looked very evolved. He definitely deserves another title shot.

For those who say they’re not “interested” in watching the fight, you have to be kidding. I bet you’ll watch it just the same. With Faber’s performance, you cannot deny him his title shot with Cruz. And with the way things are going, he is the only real contender in the weight class. Another thing is that this is the trilogy; it is BOUND to happen. What’s the best time for it to happen than with the belt on the line. It’s not like Faber was KO’d or SUB’d by Cruz in the 1st round to make the fight uninteresting. Appreciate the sport, boys.
