Brett Rogers Tells Kimbo He Tapped Post Fight

I hope kimbo can be professional and not just a strong, tough fighter. Brett did cross the line, but i thought kimbo was gonna throw punches. Hopefully he is only gonna fight in the ring form now on and not act like a musclehead. i’ll prolly like him a lot when i see the professional side of him, such as being gentlemanly outside the octagon and a beast inside the octagon, like couture or liddell.

Put Brett there against even a light heavyweight from the UFC and see how he handles a real fighter. Liddell, Griffin, hell, even half the cast of the current TUF season and they’re pathetic.

Kimbo didn’t tap, but for a sec there it looked like he was thinking about it. Then again, he’s probably the kind of fighter that believes it’s a pussy thing to do and would rather risk serious injury or death before tapping out, so maybe he wasn’t thinking about it too hard.

the fact of the matter is, he still got taken down regardless if thompson were trying to fall on him. thompson didn’t even capitalize on any of those attempts anyway. i was actually a little surprised to even see kimbo sweep that dude in the first.

kimbo has been trash his whole (low ) life – a strong man, no brains, mean, slicky , up to no good , dangerous , hoodlum, hooligan, you name it …
he can win in that kind of fight because there is no “art” in it

When i seen the fight i thought he tapped but when i watched again his hand wasnt close to thompson and the ref said he’s letting us know he’s ok, they would’ve been all over it if he tapped. I dont know why ppl say it was garbage kimbo gassed but he pulled off a nice sweep and had a neck crank you never seen that, i think there giving kimbo a good path to be champ

It was real easy to see him tap. But then the commentator kind of said he was letting the referee know he was ok…. but it looked like a early tap.. or a mis-tap.

Say what you will about Kimbo’s performance, he didn’t tap. I think he’s stealing the thunder of some of these other fighters and they don’t like it.

The fight was pretty bad itself, Kimbo’s performance sucked, but he hang on. He was so tired he was crying like todler at the end of the fight.
I watched it live and he did NOT tap however. He thought of tapping and had his hand ready but managed to shrug it off.

ok u guys dont have a clue the reason y he moved his hand in the fight was cause,he said its ok when he was in choke hold. replaye it and listlen to what he said and the commentator said also. o and for this guy rogers he jesu said that to stur things out with kimbo

You’re retarded. Dana White has no influence on this site. He probably doesn’t even know about this site. I know for a fact(from reading comments) that a lot of people that come to this site don’t even like him. Regardless of what you may think, UFC is the current top organization in MMA. It appears to me that most people realize that. Some of them (like yourself) may not like it, but that’s the way it is. I don’t dislike EliteXC, but Gary Shaw is an idiot, he comes from the boxing world and has no idea how to run an MMA organization. If he keeps it up, he’ll run EliteXC right out of business himself.
