Log in to Reply RearNakedSmoke August 17, 2011 All you need for the Anderson Silva Budweiser commercial is to have Vitor Belfort after the Segal Kick, saying “NO, I said a BUD light!”. lol. I both cracked myself up and showed my age with that one. Log in to Reply MattyP August 17, 2011 @juanaguierre That’s funny, a guy named “JUAN Aguierre” is trying to call Anderson Silva out for not living in the country he’s from. So Juan, are you posting this from Mexico or some Latin American country?? Yea, didn’t think so. Anyone can live and invest anywhere they want, it doesn’t change where they’re from. The fact that the UFC is based here in the US and Anderson chooses to fight within it, and make money, doesn’t take away from the fact that he’s Brazilian. Oh, and next time, roll over in bed and ask Chael what he thinks about you & Mexico, or wherever the hell you’re from. What a douche, get a life dude. Your hate will not change the fact that your boy Sonnen tapped out like a lil bitch.. Log in to Reply Kano Slice August 17, 2011 @MattyP, well said! Dont knock a guy for trying to better himself! & get off sonnen’s nuts! You wanna knock silva but side with a guy who tested positive, is involved in some illegal real estate ring, and gets suspended by the ufc! Wow wat a moron! Log in to Reply Mr.Armbar August 18, 2011 It’s Anderson’s $$ and he earned it. I don’t think anybody can talk about how the way he spends it. Log in to Reply marvelous mad madam mim August 18, 2011 sonnen is angry about the fact that anderson does not want to be an american, he doesnt want to speak english, he just wants to use us for our moneys. kinda like the illegal mexican problem we got, none of them want to be americans they just want to make america part of mexico, see they think this is still their country and we somehow stole it from them. that is what they are told in mexican schools Log in to Reply Shinka MMA August 18, 2011 I totally agree man. There’s nothing worse than someone who lives somewhere and then lives somewhere else and seeks out greater opportunity and lifestyle but still respects his roots. What a monster. Log in to Reply shocktime August 18, 2011 Yeah seriously juanaguirre ur retarded for what u posted. You clearly didn’t think before you posted that crap. That’s as ignorant as saying Dirk Notwitzki shouldn’t play in the NBA or buy a house or live in America cuz he was born in Germany. Don’t matter where your from get your $paper$ while the getting is good, and live where ever you choose if you got it like that! Log in to Reply Omg August 18, 2011 I personally don’t really like Chael but what he said about fake Brazilian patriotism is completely true. This is what people from piss poor countries do. Pretend they’re representing the country while not living there nor helping their people and the economy. That’s what I call hypocrisy and not patriotism. My mestre told me alot about Brazil and how he hated the place. He openly said that.. and that’s what counts if you don’t wanna come out as a freaking hypocrite. Log in to Reply Gabe Rudiger August 18, 2011 not to trol….but isnt Brazils like…90% AIDS now? id wanna leave to, i dont care how beautiful every woman there is Log in to Reply yea August 18, 2011 Yea Juanguirre… uh whatever everyone else is hating you on, I say the same! yea… Log in to Reply juanaguirre August 18, 2011 @mattyp im from here curitiba brazil born and raise and just in case you didnt know the only fighters that have helped build 2 shools are the noguiera bros and 1 foot at a time its a program that raises funds for poor kids that cant even own one pair of shoes so they have a chance to go to school cause if you dont have shoes schools wont allow you thats done thanks to the gracies those guys actually help where there from they have never forgot where there from and give back when they made it unlike anderson and wandy. And one more thing lack of education on your part dont be so ignorant in saying where you think people are from just cause of their name example if you write your name is mark you could be from england, australia, canada yeah and around here ( curitiba) most brazilians dont support anderson or wandy. Log in to Reply Rio_Warrior August 18, 2011 @gabe Rudiger That ratio would be true if everybody from Brasil left and just your family moved to there. Of course it would be nice if fighters could help out on their home country but maybe they already do and you just dony know it, many people help out and just dont care to publicize it. Log in to Reply Sanyo August 18, 2011 @Gabe Rudiger No, you’re just completely wrong and a dumbass for not taking 10 seconds to use the power of the internet to check an easy fact. Brazil’s AIDS/HIV numbers rival that of 1st world nations, and the country in fact has one of *the best* Aids medical programs, free for the whole population, regardless of nationality even, so that poor people from other countries in South America actualy go there to get free treatment. Ah, but I guess you don’t want to stop and lear before you troll, otherwise you wouldn’t be one anymore. But, a troll is gonna troll. Dumbass. Log in to Reply 60ndown August 18, 2011 1 planet, 1 people. always been lots of hate, time for change. Log in to Reply JoeDog August 18, 2011 Chael Sonnen makes a point about these Brazilian fighters moving their financial interests, investments and families to the USA while continuing to proclaim their love for the homeland and its people. I’m not sure if the Silvas share their wealth but anyone knows Brazilian people in Brazil could benefit from these fighters support for education and healthcare in the homeland more than knowing their homeboys are living large in the USA. Go Brazil! One sickeningly expensive car could build schools and health clinics in villages in Brazil. The cost of one LA mansion could fund a university program or two. On the other hand, Chael Sonnen might one day have to move to another country to avoid a prison sentence. Then he can then learn a new language. Latvian, perhaps…. Anyway, I still believe, that given the chance, Sonnen would kill Silva in a rematch. Log in to Reply FromChicago August 18, 2011 Love all the rethoric but here are the facts. Chael makes himself a fool – on video. Brazil is the 3rd market for PCs, after only China and US, ahead of Germany, Japan and the rest of the world. Just google it. BTW I know a lot of americans living in Brazil. BTW there are whole cities founded by americans there, one of them (duh) AMERICANA in Sao Paulo state. Also see Santa Barbara D’Oeste. Now that I’m here just google too for the recent wave of americans RENOUNCING their citizenship. It just quadrupled in the last few years. He’s been to Brasil several times, you don’t actually think he believes what he’s saying in character, do you? Public service announcement: When you see interviews with fighters, many if not most of them are in character. They are acting extra tough, extra funny, etc. They do it for an obvious reason: to get more exposure, further their career, and make money. Chael is a master at it. Log in to Reply juanaguirre August 18, 2011 @joe dog you really understood what i was trying to say couldnt of said it better myself @omg at least you know the facts man, all i was saying is that around here (curitiba)we dsont support fighters like anderson and wanderlei fighters like them that claim brasil up and down but havent never made any type of cooperation to brazil not helped the economy or the education not at the least even tried and for who said that maybe they help but dont do it publicly i think i would know cause ive been here 26 years and have never seen those two guys do anything for where there from to be claiming it like they do , what i know is they never have came around here cause they know we dont like them and around here people wouldnt pick a fight with them cause they would handle them diffrently, and for those who started talking about how the mexicans are taking over the u.s they are right last time i checked the u.s census says by 2025 the mexicans will be the majority with a 60% percent population rate in the u.s and thats only counting the ones who are there or will be there illegally bue thats a diffrent subject i dont understand where that conversation came out but that just went to show the ignorance of those who started talking about the mexico which had nothing to do with the point i was trying to make. well thanks everyone that has supported my facts in this posts and too the ones who started attacking me all i can say to them is get knowledge on the subject then speak about it you just speek cause of what you see on tv. Log in to Reply MattyP August 19, 2011 @Juan A. Guirre Listen son… First off, I love how you tried so hard to act like you’re from Anderson’s hometown – Curitiba, Brazil. Good, you did your research. However, it doesn’t take a genius to recognize that your first post had proper use of verb tense and spelling, compared to your next two posts having “intentional” improper verb tense and spelling, in order to sell that English isn’t your first language, trying to make us all believe that you are from Anderson’s hometown. You’re pathetic dude. As if that wasn’t obvious enough, if you were truly Brazilian, you would be proud that the baddest fighter on the planet is from “your country” and you wouldn’t be screaming “warrr chael” after he took a piss on “your country.” Secondly, you need to get YOUR facts straight. As Anderson Silva’s first job was at McDonalds, he donated the entire proceeds from a UFC auction to the Ronald McDonald House in Sao Paulo, Brazil. This money “..will go towards helping improve the health and well-being of children and their families in need.” You can find this information anywhere on the net, but for your convenience, I’ll post one of the links below, so you and Chael can read together. http://www.mmanews.com/forums/general-mma-forum/20374-champ-never-forgets-silva-gives-back-big-way.html I have no problem with Chael, but he’s the last guy that should be talking about giving back to his country when he actually made the news last year for money laundering – he stole from his country. So if you really were from Curitiba, and you really cared about providing poor kids with shoes and an education, you would be getting off your lazy ass and doing something about it yourself instead of blatantly pretending to be in and from Curitiba typing as if English was your third language and wiping Chael’s ass while he takes a shit on “your country.” Log in to Reply FromChicago August 19, 2011 @hond2dciv – yes, I believe Chael means what he says.
