This Titan Fighting Championship 24 bout with Braulio Estima (World Champion in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu) vs Chris Holland. This is the debut in pro MMA for Braulio Estima.
Pure BJJ strategy used there by Estima but if he wants to go on with MMA, he’d better start working on his striking… Good victory though by Braulio.
Good victory but as BJJ7777 said it is better for Braulio to work on his stand up..because he could be knocked out cold with a striker. His stand up is below average.
He Looked like Roger Gracie fighting, but not as good.
Very Technical BJJ. In my class we were drilling how to pass half guard, this is text book stuff here. He did a perfect job of passing half guard into mount and pushing the elbow up to get a choke. Look closely and you will see, this is really good BJJ.
if he is coming for Nick Diaz like he said he would,, he needs a lot of work.
nick daiz would murder this guy on his feet
i hope he fights Diaz.He will realize his thing is BJJ.
wow and this tool actually wanted too fight diaz in mma. That was terrible.
We will just wait and see what happens when he steps up in competition. Reminds me of a Damien Maia obviously with this world class BJJ… but once he fights someone who is well seasoned, and has a good wrestling base, or someone who can avoid take downs and has good striking, then we will see what he is truly made of. Roger gracie sure understood that when he fought King Mo.
still impressive he can make 170 being 6’3
dat reach tho
i love his hand plant victory spin and “wooo!” scream. He does this everytime when he wins bjj fights. too funny guy cool as hell.
yes…diaz wuld kill em in mma, but they were supposes to fight in submission wrestling only.
@butterbut impressive? I think anthony johnson takes the title for “impressive” considering he did make 170 or 171lbs a few times while he was in the UFC. I doubt this guy walks around at 225lbs. He’s very lean so he might feel comfortable at 170.
