They were not doing much with that cut. They just held this blood soaked cloth to his head.

As for stopping the fight. The cut was big, but they should have let them fight longer and see how much it bleeds. If the bleeding is bad, try to seal the cut (they didn’t even try). If it gets dangerous then stop it. This ending just make Lashley look bad. It makes the fight look fixed(it wasn’t) because they really didn’t try to stop the bleeding.

Yo, “the truth” I think you could use a dose of truth. To say Dana White is damaging MMA is ignorant. Before White and Zuffa came along MMA was illegal throughout most of the US and fighters were forced to seek out low budget venues in other countries. Implementing a set of rules and weight classes is what made it an actual sport rather than the brutal spectacle it began as. Getting MMA events legalized in many states and making a deal with Spike TV to put it in everyones living rooms is the exact opposite of damaging the sport. Dana White along with Zuffa corp. are the largest driving force behind the growth and development of MMA in the states and are now helping it’s growth abroad, in places like the UK with talks of setting up events in the philipines and middle east. Sure the dude has done some dumb shit, but we all make decisions every day. Lesnar is HW champ while Fedor is basically a fighter without a place to fight. It’s not right, but it’s reality. But let us not forget, Pride (which everyone sings the gospel about now that it’s gone) had A LOT of Japanese fighters that got their start as pro wrestlers. Some (Sakuraba) went on to do good things in the sport and were well respected.

How is making it the fastest growing sport in the world, over taking boxing and putting on great fight cards damaging MMA. Yeah, that Fight for the Troops was really damaging. The fight was a OK fight considering the level of fighters in it. Bobby Lashely is going to be a good fighter because he is a good athlete. PERIOD. All he has to do is get with the right camp and train his ASS off. He will do well. As far as Dana and the UFC. I am boycotting Buying anymore Pay Per Views. (Mainly because of the Economy) but also because of His ruthless Cut Throat Nature. He had no right to treat Jon Fitch the way he did. I can’t forgive him for that. I can see if it was some lower level fighter but this is one of YOUR BEST DAMN FIGHTERS. Dana is a prick and has done a lot for the sport. But Threating your fighters like shit and Aggressively attacking every other promotion out there isn’t the way to improve the WHOLE WORLD OF MMA. It only helps UFC and Zuffa!

Agreed Maelman, these people are just uninformed general public. This guy IS a STEROID USER. He will never be top fighter. Lesnar quit roids, but I still think he should be ineligible since his freak mass is a product of steroid use. Not all your weight is lost after stopping steroid use, about 1/2 your mass will leave, the other 1/2 stays as long as you work out.

First off, let me agree with Mr. Hallstyle, Dana white is not about MMA dana white is about UFC and Dana white. If the reputation of MMA improves along the way, so the better. Then let me strongly disagree with the fucking idiots saying that Brock and Bobby are roid freaks. As brock said, he has never failed a drug test, and as dana said, you’d have to be a fucking idiot to take steroids in this day and age if you’re in sports. Marines come back from Iraq looking like Brock… guys who really push it in the gym every day look like brock. Its called dedication. Years of it. Truthfully, that kind of muscle mass and the time it takes to maintain it would probably interfere tremendously with the more important aspects of training for MMA, unless all you did was train, lift weights and sleep, which not many MMA fights have the dedication to do. Cheers to Brock, and I hope bobby shows the same desire to climb the ladder, it would be a hell of a fight between the two of them.
