He had the awkward takedown (and I use that term loosely) and then just rolled backwards, turtled, and decided to tap just b/c he was in a bad position. I’ve seen a lot of bad Sapp fights but this is the worst.

I can’t fathom why any human would want to fight that big use for nothing prick, he is a complete embarrassment to any combat sport he participates in, his entrance just makes me feel sorry for him! Every time this man steps into a ring or cage, he damages the legacy of Ernesto Hoost.
Crazy to think that at one point, he was actually a somewhat feared fighter. When Big Nog was staring across the ring from him he thought to himself, “I’ve made a mistake”. He got smashed on his head, had his orbital bone broken, yet somehow managed to win. At one point in time, Sapp actually took himself seriously as a fighter.
I guess he’s decided that he’s able to make money and stay safe by doing this dive bit continually, and he fights many times a year in smaller promotions, but it’s kind of a shame. Butterbean did the same thing for awhile, but he was possibly even more of a joke than Sapp to being with. Maybe not. Sort of wonder why I keep watching this crap haha
