BJ Penn will hop down to featherweight and coach against Frankie Edgar for season 19 of The Ultimate Fighter.
Frankie Edgar upset BJ Penn to win the lightweight title at UFC 112, and later controled him in the rematch at UFC 118 to cause Penn to go back up to welterweight.
UFC President Dana White said he booked the fight after Penn informed him he had a desire to avenge his two losses to Edgar.
Penn already has served as a coach on “The Ultimate Fighter 5,” which aired in 2007. “The Ultimate Fighter 19” is expected to feature light heavyweight and middleweight UFC hopefuls. Filming begins in Las Vegas in mid-October.
