BJ Penn Talks Possible Return To The Octagon.

oh… he most def should return to the UFC
Please go back to 155 bj!!!!
It has been a good run for BJ. Please don’t come back, but if he does he should go back to the ground game and focus on that instead of trying to stand with everyone.
Love BJ, but I think he should stay retired. Nothing really out there for him at this point. He’s accomplished all that he can in the sport. The luster of any potential superfight is kind of gone at this point. Just live it up BJ.
Think him and Florian are the only ones who don’t dope, and look where they are now.
BJ Penn is the man. He has nothing to prove and should do whatever he wants.
Go whoop GSP’s ass BJ! train with nick diaz n get your cardio like his and go whoop on GSP. GSP is a wussy and i think you can get him (if he doesnt grease up)
Every day you go to work in the UFC = your body gets more and more damaged.
Stay too long and your brain and joints won’t recover.
A fighter has a shelf life; it’s time to go.
I would actually love to see him drop to 145 and fight Jose Aldo and possibly be the first champion in 3 weight classes I think he matches up well with Jose and he could definately make the weight if he did all the right things. Hell he went to heavyweight and fought Machida back in the day why not live on celery for a few weeks and make a run at the history books that would be a hard feat for someone to duplicate.
@ fulcrumpointftt, he can’t make 145lbs…lol
Would be good to see him in the gym, lifting weights, cardio and eating right for a solid 8 months… @ 155… with his mindset, he could still be champion. He need superior cardio if he wants that title again.
Come back at 155lb BJ. 170′s too much for you these days, the sports has evolved too much at athletes are increasingly improved all the time. Those days are gone BJ, fight at your wt class
+1 for Ruddo. Cardio has always been his main issue. Especially in the Nick fight who obviously has some of the best cardio in the division. He won the first round.. but he knows himself more than we are saying it, that he doesn’t have/want the drive to be able to fight a five round fight like he did in the first round against Diaz. I vote retire, but if he doesn’t, please prove me wrong about your will and drive man, been a fan for a while now.
Crazy cardio BJ would be a force to be reckoned with.
All other versions… stay retired. Love ya BJ, one of my fav’s, but it is the time of the athlete, now.
BJ is still a killer, why the hell would you want someone who can still perform at the top ranks to retire? The only people who should retire are fighters like the Ice Man or Pulver where they just can’t compete like they once could and only embarass themselves and their fans with each loss.
If BJ trains properly he could come back and beat GSP @ 170.
