You are now getting constantly beat, you do not care enough to look after your cardio either. Log in to Reply ChungMal July 13, 2013 Yeah BJ is/was good if you base it only on his POTENTIAL. However, based on his actual fights hes nothing special. He had some good fights exciting fights, but come on. Go get some poor me sob story love somewhere else. He is the LW Ortiz when it comes to excuses and I think has “officially” retired more times than Diaz. Log in to Reply PowerTele July 13, 2013 You guys need to look this man up. He has beaten Matt Serra, Matt Hughes, Din Thomas, Renzo Gracie, Takanori Gomi, Joe Stevenson, Sean Sherk, Kenny Florian, and Diego Sanchez. He fought at many different weights and even went to decision with Lyoto Machida where Penn weighed 191 and Machida 220. This guy is awesome. He was not afraid to lose and has every right to teeter back and forth. Let me see any fight today attempt what he did. Let me see you guys attempt it. When you do, then you can talk. BJ Penn is awesome for the battles he has fought. Georges , Frankie , Nick and Rory all made him look extremely bad and he got a lucky punch on Matt…he either doesn’t have it anymore or doesn’t care to have it and does nothing but whine and bitch and throw excuses around . And many fighters have gone up and down in the UFC and other organizations….that being said this is for fans not fighters so Im sure we all will continue to say what the hell we like. Log in to Reply lkasjdf July 14, 2013 HAHA powertele Assumes he has been watching mma longer than everyone else and all others need to look up fighters stats… Ive been watching MMA since 2000, so I know who and what BJ penn has done in the sport. He was good at the time, but as soon as MMA starting taking off, he fell off. He beat some tough guys but like others have said hasn’t really done much with his career… BJ’s legacy will be that he could have been great. All the earlier fighters in the UFC look good because the competition of MMA hadn’t fully evolved yet. Log in to Reply DirtySue July 14, 2013 yeah man totally over rated, i mean he’s just a bjj world champ, ufc lightweight and welterweight world champ… That’s totally over rated, quit trolling dumbass… Log in to Reply Leave a Reply Cancel reply You must be logged in to post a comment.
