Best Movie Fight Scene Using MMA Techniques

Most Hong Kong action movies use fight techniques that are stylish but wouldn’t work in the real world of fighting. Donnie Yen’s Flash Point keeps that wide open anything goes fighting style but adds moves that you would see in MMA.

This fight scene is 7 minutes of wide open action but if you want to watch the entire movie don’t look at the last minute or it give away to much of the plot. The movie is slow in a few spots but has some of the best fight scenes made in resent years. I strongly recommend you rent or even buy this movie if you are a true martial arts movie fan.

Man, I can see this scene over and over and over…great action!!
Also this guy Tony Jaa is very good…I like the scene when he saw the elephant skeleton and went fucking crazy braking bones right and left…LOL man that was some good stuff right there!

the guy in leather is not a finisher. I think he is the good guy because he got bloodied up first.

Blood pouring from the nose. Getting Rampage slamed on the concrete. It looked to be the lift in reverse though. His head didn’t hit the ground. It was worth watching

That was pretty bad ass right there. I’d have liked to see another come back by the bad guy before getting choked out, but other than that, as an action guy, that was good stuff.

wow that shit was some brutal epic actions. and i was amazed by all those fancy MMA moves. yes, it’s still exaggerated but once again it’s only movie. yet, it’s full of ACTUAL fighting skills. PROPS!!!

Looks like a great fight for movies personally I like to see fights that seem more raw. Savage fights in movies, they just seem to make more sense.

I like how they incorporated the grappling into the fight. This was a very fun and exciting seen to watch especially being a Donnie Yen fan for so many years. Thanks for posting this video.

Too bad he ended with a Mata Leo with crossed legs. The guy in white should have locked them up with his legs and broke the black shirt guys ankles.

Good all the way until then…except the both can take a lot of punishment.

The Mel Gibson fight scene at the end of Lethal Weapon is the best and most accurate MMA style, street fight scene in a movie to date ending with a Triangle choke.

Unrealistic that first arm bar would have finished the fight.

However, it is a great scene because it finds a way to make mma style flashy, when usually its very technical and boring.
