It`s sad to see such a talented kid having such a retarded attitude. I understand wrestling is his base and he is great at it but he has to admit that his striking is absolute trash to compete at champion level, his fights are even more boring than fitch`s and he`s far away from being a well rounded mixted martial artist. I he learns his lesson soon so he can actually start learning and evolving as an MIXED martial artist. And I agree with Licks72, I don`t know who awarded him his Brown belt but it does seem weird even considering the fact that he`s an elite wrestler. Look at Cormier (white belt), Cruz (blue belt), and Ellenberger (purple belt). They haven`t been handed their belts easily even though their great wrestlers.

I don’t doubt he possesses a brown belt in JJ. I was asking if anyone has seen him use it in a fight. Who did he get his belt under? Doesn’t it seem weird to dominate your opponent for 15 minutes but you can’t get a sub? He has great wrestling skills and I can appreciate that but wrestling doesn’t finish fights. It puts you in the position to finish. Which he doesn’t. He should fight Antonio McKee in Jersey and call it the snore at the shore.

I’m sure he is a brown belt.There’s a not so recent vide where he rolls with Marcello Garcia.He got his ass handed to him several times but he didn’t looked bad at all.And that was 1 or 2 years ago.I’ sure he could submit people if he had a less agy strategy when he fights.He fights not to get hurt and win,wich is kind of smart but don’t excpect to have big contracts when you are boring.Look at Fitch he was N.2 a long time before getting KOed but he wasn’t even the co-main event,he was just too damn boring.

I am of the opinion that their fights seem boring to you because their OPPONENTS lack wrestling skill. I think Askren in the UFC would only be an underdog to GSP, Koscheck, Hendricks, and perhaps Fitch and Ellenberger.
