Ben “Funky” Askren (1-0) Vs. Mitchell Harris (1-3) Fight Video. Patriot Act II Mixed Martial Arts Event was held this past weekend in Missouri.

Funky Askren, a 2008 U.S. Olympian, took the fight at a catch-weight of 175 pounds. Former UFC heavyweight contender Jeff Monson had been scheduled as the night’s headliner, but the bout was eventually scratched, and Askren took the top spot.

Ben hasn’t even been tested. I am not impressed with him fighting guys that have losing records. Flower was 0-1 and Harris 1-3. Ben looked terrible in this fight and doesn’t even want to exchange standing up. He is affraid to get punched! Put him in against somebody that will test him and that could beat him and quit feeding him fighters that suck. He should search for competition and apparently he needs to go outside of Columbia MO. Also he needs learn how to box and through decent leg kicks. NOT impressed with him at all!
