WOW!!! What an upset.

Badr looked horrible and out of his eliment. That opponent had good defense, kept his head moving, his hands up and avoided nearly all of Badr’s power shots. Badr didnt have a plan, kept his hands low, failed to use kicks to the legs effectively and in general was piss poor showing.
How the mighty have fallen.
Wasnt he supposed to be going to boxing anyway in hopes of fighting the Klchenko brothers?

Thought Badr was suposed to be doin jail time.

Great fight, always cool to see a smaller underdog win. Hope the same happens tonight for the UFC event.

Did Badr Hari quit?

Tear Says, in 5-25-2013 at 15:20:19 from

Badr Hari was never the most technical striker, he relied on his size, punching power and aggressivity to win. It did not work so well for him coming out of jail against an equally aggressive fighter.

Badr Hari had beaten Zabit “Maugli” Samedov readily by liver shot after knocking him around for several minutes before hand in 2009, the decisioned him in March of this years. Those were tourney wins. Zabit has been chipping at Badr for a while. Hopefully Zabit can do this again or better at a Grand Prix. Zabit is an undersized badass and one of my favorite fighters. With equal sized opponents, he is highly technical and brilliant to watch.

When Samedov shells up he can take some heavy impacts. Samedov utilized a lot of the opportunities when the gap was bridged, and stuck on Hari like white on rice.

He was in horrible shape…no technique when you have no cardio!!!

That whole fight look like a set up. Badi Hari looks like he took a Dive. The other guy looked like he was in the wrong weight class..

Something smells fishy as s***..

jonnyx Says, in 5-25-2013 at 18:21:16 from

geebus, badr used to be a beast. he had a size and reach advantage and still got owned. Samedov has balls though, and quickness. Pretty good timing too. Man.

Iv never seen any who dint an attempt to get up, match fixin sud be suspeted

batmite Says, in 5-25-2013 at 22:52:25 from

Hari got caught right off the bat, was stunned, and got by on instinct, for a while.

Like any undisciplined fighter, all you have to do is make them mad and wait as they open themselves up to be ktfo. The only catch is you have to stand inside that storm of their rage to catch them, which is a lot easier said than done.

But Samedov did it.

FLYINGKNEEss Says, in 5-26-2013 at 15:46:59 from

wow what an upset. Didnt look like a dive to me, he was more out of shape and rusty, with no game plan.

Thxer Says, in 5-27-2013 at 01:16:00 from

I’d say he took a dive if he wasn’t jacking his s*** up so much beforehand. When’s the last time you’ve seen Badr get dropped and not get back up unless he was OUT? Maybe he’s just getting old/worn out.

Regardless Samedov is a beast.

Trousersnake Says, in 5-27-2013 at 02:30:43 from

No fix. No gameplan. Hari threw not enough kicks. Samedov has better pure boxing skills.
