After what Badr Hari did to Remy Bonjasky(DQ’ed for kicking Remy in the face while he was down) I wish Alistar would’ve smashed his face in while he was on the ground. The ref stopped it too quick for Alistar to punish that punk like he deserves.

Alistair is my new hero. Alistair is getting biggers because he moved up to HW and no longer needs to cut to 205. He has said that he never used to lift weights because he couldn’t put on weight or he’d not make 205. Now he has been at HW for a few years.

doesn’t matter if overeem weighs more, it’s a heavyweght fight. look at lesner, he weighs 25-30 lbs more than anyone in UFC’s heavyweight division. it’s taken overeem a long time to get that big, it’s not roids. he’s just a very dedicated talented fighter who’s come a loooooooooooong way.

The trend here seems to be if you don’t fight in the UFC you must be on steroids.

Give it up guys unless someone is actually caught doing them give the guy the benefit of doubt. Steroids don’t make you a better fighter by the way or improve your technique so why always mention it?

Overeem has always been a big 205 lb fighter and as someone mentioned earlier at 6′5″ he had a hard time cutting weight for 205 lbs. That to me seems reasonable, maybe he actually trains a lot, wow what a concept?!

Prove the guys on roids then spout off, otherwise leave it alone.

I agree, Overeem does look huge (even more so than usual). I’m not saying he’s on the juice though. Anyone can work their ass off and put on muscle. However, when a grown mans head, neck and jawline get bigger seemingly overnight, that’s usually a dead give away. Again I’m not saying he’s juicin, but that being said, look at the before and after pictures. None the less, I wouldn’t dream of trying to take anything from Alistair. This guy is come back king of the year in my eyes. He went from being mediocre to wrecking everyone he’s faced. I still say the turning point was the time hes spent training with Fedor. His very first fight after that he left Sergei Keratonov (an ex member of the red devil team) looking like the elephant man, and did so with ground and pound no less. I can’t say enough about this guy, he’s fought several different organizations this year and won all of his fights if I’m not mistaken.
