I get that all the time. I meet people that tell me there big fans so I start rambling on about fighters and fights and I lose them about 10 seconds into the conversation. Another time I saw an old friend that was wearing a Tap out shirt this was around the time BJ fought Sanchez so I asked who he thought was going to win the fight and he had no idea WTF I was talking about so I said well its a nice shirt anyway.

I’m confused…is Kimbo really that good? A lot of people seem to think so, but I thought he was just a mid level fighter, maybe above Chuck Liddell, but not above Brock Lesnar or GSP. Is the guy in the video right?

@knoitall I been following the UFC and MMA since the early days of Ken Shamrock, Royce Gracie, Dan Severn era. And I can tell that Kimbo Slice aint no where near Chuck Liddells level and success in MMA. Chuck is a former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion, and Kimbo is a youtube street fighting legend that has lost to a former UFC contender and former golden glove boxer Sean Gannon in a street fight and he also got KTFO by former ultimate fighter contender Seth Pettruzeli in eliteXC. Kimbo is NOT above Chuck!

Kimbo is not above anybody who is currently,or already fought for the UFC.The guy has hands and its all.And of course he won his 1st UFC fight,they gave him a washed up LHW.He cant grapple at all,can’t kick or take a kick,he can’t knee,he’s not an MMA fighter.Just a glorified loser beater.I used to dislike him before TUF but he’s a good guy who only wants to get better.His fans on the other hand,I hate them with all my heart.Everytime I hear them syaing he’s the best or that he’s better then Chuck Liddell makes me want to hit them in the face . It’s so diserespectful to any fighter who actually knows how to fight.

here in Canada I can bet you can walk on the street and ask anyone young to middle age person they will know everything about it lol!
