hadn’t seen this freakshow fight before, but he moves pretty well for his size. he somehow beat the completely unknown guy that was smaller and had far less reach than him.

i don’t really know anything about sengoku no ran but do they ever have fights that are actually competitive, like where there’s some doubt as to who the winner will be? or is it just a bunch of salary men hoping to see someone die in the ring?

Silva can fight at Japan the rest of his career… they like freaks there and roids don’t matter either.

It’s not fixed or stopped too early is one of the fighters gives up ’cause he knows he’s being dominated.

if Silva had Acromegaly, he would have been much bigger by now. He is not sick, he is just ugly.
Btw, he is a good heavy weight, but he needs better competition.

i know this may seem overly tedious and documented for this site, but it seems that growth hormones (not just in mma) has become the latest ’supplement’..

whatever. isn’t it sad that we’re talking about steroids being used in these fights? I mean since ufc 1 you could tell some fighters looked suspicious but this is what might bring this sport down. Antonio does show the classic signs of acromegaly. I should know – because I have acromegaly too.

He has big hands and feet, long jaw, enlarged lips, frontal bossing (above the eyebrows are thickened), coarse skin, wide nose. Oh, and he had bags *above* his eyes.

The “features” of acromegaly can however be brought on by using steroids. The disease of acromegaly is caused by a little tumour on the pituitary gland (it’s a baked-bean sized thing that dangles under your brain).
