Overeem did quite well for the 1st 5mins until Nogueri gave him some GnP.
2nd Round he seems to hesitate on on throwing low kicks.
Y did Overeem’s corner throw the towel? He seems to be able to hang in there for awhile.

overeem: amazing kicks but with that kind of reach he should be more effective with his hands.

That was the strangest thing I’ve ever seen. Who the freak threw that towel in? Alistair is a world class fighter and not some TUF upstart that needs to be saved by his corner. Overeem should can the dude that threw in the towel, but it was probably his old man.

The Nogueira brothers’ standup is very underrated. Rogerio knocked out Edwin Dewees at Affliction with some nasty knees from a thai clinch.

Overeem had neck problems on that fight.
He was dazed and as soon as Rogerio graved the neck they threw the towel.

That’s BS! so what if Overeem had a neck priblem!? he shouldnt have even entered the ring if his corner thinks hes was not in shape! Towel was too early! A true gladiator finishes what is there to finish! There should have not been gloves in this MMA at the first place! Not impressed at all with Nog. At 11:29, Overeem should have followed up with a flurry and he prob would have finished him. I am floored with Overeem’s boxing / kicking dominance.
Nog did not win. Just like you all have said,
towel too early!!
