Log in to Reply PitFighterZ February 21, 2010 BigNog just doesn’t have the speed to be competitive anymore. He needs to step out. Carwiin and Velasquez should be an awsome fight. But, after this one, they might just let Cain fight Brock. Log in to Reply marco February 21, 2010 cain is not really a mexican, i dont know why they promote him as such. JDS will avence nog and destroy cain Log in to Reply Justsayin February 21, 2010 Daaamn . . . Go, Cain! I did not expect to see such beautiful striking from Cain. And, yes, he stopped a Nog that had not been hospitalized for staph- in the first! I love Nog, too, but Cain is on the rise. BTW, from what I’ve heard, the winner of Carwin/Mir faces Brock (as one will be the inerim champ), and the winner of this fight (Cain!) would have next. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Cain have to take on one more top-tier, though, since he would have to take a long lay-off waiting for a champ, and since there’s another hungry HW, Junior Dos Santos, knocking on the door, as well. I think Cain will have to take on the winner of Gonzaga/Dos Santos next; if he wins, he’s getting that shot! Man, I loved 110! Log in to Reply Herkenrath February 21, 2010 Perfect timing on the ground and pound. Took about a split second to make sure he was dialed in then teed the **** off on him. Sick of seeing the first three hit punches hit the floor. Cain is about to explode with new fans. Impressive win over the “old” fans fighter and being undefeated helps. We’ll always have Fedor. Log in to Reply Stabby Jones February 21, 2010 Great knock out but Cain will be fighting brock next cause of his mexican background and that fact that the ufc is marketing global. Which is horseshit cause Carwin allready won his crack at the title. Brock wont go toe to toe with Cain , he shoot , smother and destroy Cain . Cain doesnt have the strength to not be man handled by Brock on the ground , he isnt a big enough heavyweight. Carwin or Brock havent been knocked out and I cant see cain being able to do it before either one shot in an dput cain on his ass. Log in to Reply Justsayin February 21, 2010 BTW, I heard stuff about Cain getting a nickname- dude’s very light on his feet for his size; I would suggest “The Cat” but it seems too meek and more importantly, it’s associated with Shoney Carter >=( Log in to Reply ali February 21, 2010 Big nog shoud be get a retire after couture fight, some fighters has less time life in mma minotauro is over for this sport. Log in to Reply ali February 21, 2010 Edward Says, in 2-21-2010 at 05:42:51 from 126.96.36.199 Nog might be 33, but the punishment he absorbed during his career slowed him down over the years and made him seem much older. I really thought Nog was going to win but 1 minute into the fight, Cain’s quickness just made the fight seems one sided. best coment here Log in to Reply corey February 22, 2010 The truth is… cain’s punch landed, and nog’s missed by centimeters. The replay shows em both throw the same punch… nog actually came in with the combo, landed the jab that busted cain’s nose open, he just missed the hook, and cain didnt. Everyone saying nog looked like shit, well… if his shot woulda landed as well as, or instead of cain’s, this battle woulda kept going. Super close. Don’t know why ya making excuses for him, or for the pride boys. Only takes a second to end a fight. Log in to Reply ceroego February 22, 2010 cain is mexican american, what are you, marco central american.? anyways he knock the shit out nog. everytime since the firstime he fouth at ufc, before every single one of his fights. people here´s been saying. he aint got no chance agains his next contender, and after he beats them then they say, o thats because they werent shit or had no skills or where out of their prime or some****en lame excuse. Log in to Reply #1mmafan February 22, 2010 God, i feel bad for Nog goin out this way i hate seein him ask the ref wut happen then he said the fights over, worst feelin for a fighter Hats off to Cain though i was sad but impressed Log in to Reply 021gambler February 22, 2010 I wanna see Cain vs Dos Santos!! I think it would be an awesome fight!! Log in to Reply MmaMike February 22, 2010 Corey: Nog’s punch missed because he threw his wide while Cain’s was tight and compact. Cain’s punch was going to get there first everytime. Also, Cain had his chin tucked in (boxing 101) while Nog’s was out. Even if Nogs landed it would have glanced and wouldn’t have done damage it was intended to. Anyway, as an MMA fan I have great respect for Nog, but he has lost a step and wouldn’t have been caught with that punch earlier in his career. Sidebar, am I the only one that thinks Cain is too small for heavyweight? Log in to Reply Pasumecha February 22, 2010 Cain’s speed a accuracy are amazing! So, Who’s next for Cain? Brown Pride a huevo!! Log in to Reply fffua February 22, 2010 Cain is proving to be a legitimate fighter, but still need some seasoning IMO. dos santos or gonzaga would be a great ticket for the next contender. People still need to remember that Brock is just big and powerful but still not a complete mma fighter. I believe a good striker will knock Brock out (Randy clocked him twice) and Randy is not a known knock out artist.. Pride haters need to be remained that Anderson Silva came from pride and actually lost fights as a pride fighter! We are lucky as fans to have mma, whether is pride, ufc or even strike force. I even enjoyed the affliction shows greatly!! Thanks for the vids Bruno! as always best site ever. Log in to Reply fffua February 22, 2010 Cain and dos Santos are proving to be the most dangerous and all around fighters in the hw division for sure. Viva Cain V.!! Log in to Reply souljahz February 22, 2010 BROWN PRIDE Log in to Reply rockztar80 February 23, 2010 yeah! cain n dos santos are 2 upcoming great young fighters!!! Log in to Reply Shaun February 23, 2010 He made Nog look like a no name. That doesn’t happen often. It’s rather Nog is no longer in his prime or Cain is indeed “the next big thing.” Log in to Reply ksg February 23, 2010 Shit that is bad, well a chin can only take so much. It has been a long time and now we c the result. Well looks like either cain is next 4 title or it will be junior dos santos vs Cain Velasquez for #1 contender spot for Brock’s Title Log in to Reply Mao February 24, 2010 i can see why big nog lost, clearly because cain won. Log in to Reply moy_ March 1, 2010 couture was smaller and gave brock a fight…i think cain can do way better. Log in to Reply Daroc March 8, 2010 Do any of you even know how to fight? Especially those who are bad mouthing Noguiera? Fact is, for all you non-fighters, that a great fighter, is supposed to lose, just as Cain will. In our fight world, we learn to lose and winning is nothing. -dc Log in to Reply « Older Comments Leave a Reply Cancel reply You must be logged in to post a comment.
