“Anthony Torres tested positive for Boldenone,” said UFC vice president Marc Ratner. |
Torres suffered his first MMA loss by getting taken out in the first round of his fight with Jess Liaudin at UFC 75 in London on Sept. 8. Because there is no one that regulates MMA in the U.K., the UFC administered drug tests at random before and after the fights that night.
Torres was found to have Boldenone in his system. He will not be punished by a commission since there is none that has jurisdiction, but Ratner said the UFC plans to inform the athletic commissions of the positive test.
Ratner also said, the UFC released Torres from his contract for poor performance after the loss to Liaudin.
