Andrei Arlovski will square off with Anthony “Rumble” Johnson at the WSoF 2 event on March 23 at Revel Casino in Atlantic City, N.J. The bout is expected to take place in the heavyweight division.
Big risk for both of these guys, winner may see a bout back in the UFC. I thought Johnson was having no problem making 205, but here he is at heavy.
damn…from welterweight to heavyweight in 2 years. wonder if hes been eating horseburgers with overeem.
I call foul.
You can’t give yourself a nickname
He was trying to make 170, but I think he got cut because he came in eight pounds over the limit in his last UFC fight against…….Vitor? I think so.
his last fight in the UFC he came 8 over 185lbs.
People just dont understand… the Glove see.. Its gonna Happen… lol
Horse Burgers… lol
he came in 12 pounds over against vitor (197) vitor agreed to fight him if he was under 205 the morning of the fight which he was. both weighed right before the fight (not required but I think Dana wanted them to so the casual fans would no it was not a 185 vs 205) and vitor weighted 206 rumble weighted 211. Prior to the fight rumble said he did not put on any extra muscle for that fight. It is absolutely crazy to think he ever fought at 170 he absolutely dwarfed people at that weight class. He probably came into the cage for his 170 fights weighing around 205 just insane. He walked around at 230lbs+ when he was fighting at 170 (obviously a good bit of that was fat). If he gets in the ufc again i am sure he will fight at light heavyweight. The only reason he is fighting Andrei at heavyweight is bc that is the biggest fight WSOF has to offer
Yeah AJ was a GIANT at ww, and probably would’ve still been a decent LHW, but going from WW to HW is craaaazyyyy. I would’ve liked to hear more about that transition rather than have this bumbling idiot ask him about the rules of mma. Worthless interview.
I like his nick name. That guy is so explosive too bad he’s cursed. Ever since Van arsdale left that team has gone down hill.
hilarious comment, neither of these guys will be back in the ufc, win or lose.
this guy interviewing seems like he has down syndrome.
Dumbest interview I have ever seen. Did he really ask him what camp he’s training with? It’s like asking Kobe Bryant what team he plays for. Talking with AJ about judges handling accidental eye pokes…wtf?
