I miss that Arlovski – he’s still good, but man, he was a completely vicious striker.

He definitely showed Matyushenko that he needed to be a lot more well-rounded in his game if he wanted to take on the likes of AA.

where did this andrei go. it seems like ever since he got knocked out he hasnt been the same. he needs to watch some of his old fights to get inspired.

Omg Matyushenko got totally outclassed. On paper it was supposed to look like Vladdy would be the one taking Arlovski down, but Arlovski sprawl’s are too good.

That seems to have been the theme today; fighters who have now begun to slip back when they were in their prime. If old Andrei ever comes back, the week Heavyweight division of the UFC would be decimated, but I doubt he ever will. Something switched off in him, and he just isn’t the same. What a shame, as now the Heavyweight division is absolute shit.

vladdy doesn’t even fight at this weight anymore…in fact, at 205lbs, he’s pretty dominant…he would give almost any lhw in ufc trouble, including rampage imo….

Great vintage footage of the pitbull!! I miss this Arlovski too. In my mind he still has some of the best footwork and cleanest striking at heavyweight. I’d love to see him recapture some of his aggressiveness and dominate like he is capable of.

Good old Arlovski.

And, Matyu was always a small HW. Just look at how small he is compared to AA. He’s making a name for himself at the IFL, showing some dominance.. maybe down the line we could see him return to the UFC as a LHW (even if he won’t ever be up there)

This AA had such promise, but he slipped a little.

I hate to jump on the Mazagatti(sp?) hate band wagon but that’s how you stop a fight.

I agree with everything everybody said except for alfredunhill/ Dont type just to type. He’s good he may even beat Arlovski if they fight again but not Rampage have some class and respect.
