J23 can’t disagree with you more Arlovski is not over rated, he’s top 5 in my opinion. Fast hands good on the ground, his footwork has really improved and looks like he’s as tentative as he was when he fought Sylvia.
it would be interesting to see Fedor and Arlovski or Barnett and Arlovski. isn’t the best off his back except for leg locks Arlovski would be interesting to see if Fedor could close the gap before getting cut.

People are complaining about Nelson having side mount and what not. But being the ref I would have done the same. He had side mount and got 2 knees which clearly did not hurt Orlovski and he did nothing with the position after the knees. Could the ref given him a bit more time to improve sure but what he was doing wasn’t working that’s why they were stood up.

Arlovski is not even top 5. To fight for a 3rd rate promotion on the undercard is the first indicator of this. Obviously, his ground game is suspect. Can you imagine if someone like Couture or Gonzaga or Fedor or Nog or Mir got him down? No way he’d be getting up again.

The stand up was lame, but so was Nelson–he should have been way busier from side control.

Big country robbed himself by not getting his weight down enough to not gas out. He was doing well until he couldn’t keep his hands up in round 2. Arlovski won by having enough energy to win.
