Andrei Arlovski Finally Signs With Affliction

Andrei Arlovski will be announced as Affliction’s latest member during today’s press conference in New York City.

Also Donald Trump will be introduced as a backing partner for the fight promotion. Affliction and Trump have scheduled a press conference for today in New York City to officially make the announcement.

Executive Vice President of The Trump organization and Michael D. Cohen, has confirmed that Trump will introduce Arlovski as the fight promotion’s latest member.

Ben Rothwell will fight Arlovski at Affliction’s debut event, which takes place July 19 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif. Fedor takes on Tim Sylvia in the night’s main event.

Great signing for Affliction, he will kill Rothwell, but trust me this is bad for MMA in the long run. They have managed to put together a hell of a card, but they cant do this every time. Consolidated talent is what works in sports; baseball, basketball and football are successfull because they have the best talent and no competition. Promototions organizing fights instead of organizations will lead to current day boxing: Unorganized, 30 wieghtclasses, 60 champions and weak cards.

Oh please!!! ANGER. this will bring MMA to whole another level so please stop with that bullshit. in fact, it’s good to have a competitor in the MMA. as we all know UFC is pretty much dominating MMA in north america so an organization like this one wont be that bad. AFFLICTION is way better than Elitexc or Strikeforce BS. also they are going to use ring instead of cage which is interesting

Chopstickthugz, believe me I would rather watch Affliction than that BS that was put up at the Elite XC show, but this is just the onset of what killed boxing. In a couple years we could have a UFC, Elite XC, Affliction and Strikeforce champs. None of which will fight eachother. Although Elite XC and Strikeforce do cross promotions, but they are shit anyway.

UFC is not dominating, they do not even have competition. Hopefully Couture’s Affliction will take over
