MMA fight video of Anderson Silva versus Yushin Okami at Rumble on the Rock 8.

This fight shows that even when you think you might have Silva in a vulnerable position he can still take you out. Okami is a much stronger fighter now and should give Silva a better fight if the UFC chooses to give them a rematch.

Black Gerbil how old are you seriously? 11? I cant believe that comment you put the worst comments on this site. Fighters fight in their natural weight class Fedor is Naturally a Heavyweight 240 lbs, anderson Silva although tall is slimmer of frame he couldnt hold that much weight as he is only about 195 lbs naturaly (drops down to 185 to fight). So he would be at a HUGE disadvantage against anyone of that size, although light heavy i think is a possibility and after beating henderson i think it might happen. But anyway very few fighters can move up in weight and be successful or down for that matter with the notable acceptions of Henderson, Couture etc. So to not like a fighter for the weight he fights at is the stupidest comment i have ever heard, why not throw GSP into Brock Lesner LOL (although he could tap him out haha but you get my point)

How is it bullshit that Anderson lost this fight? He did an illegal kick and knocked Okami out, granted it was crazy to see.

Anderson has stated in interview that the rules before this match were not properly explained to him and that he would like to redeem his lost.

I would love to see them fight again, Okami has improved his game alot but Anderson would still win. A decent rematch fight to watch tho IMO

Silva was disqualified from that match b/c okami was on his knees. I would really like to see how that fight played out. Okami’s win over Evan Tanner and his ability to go the full fight with Rich Franklin really shows he’s a top competitor. In fact the loss to Okami was Silvas’ last loss I believe and it wasn’t a real beat. Okomi and silva are are a good match, both good on their feet and on the ground.
and Red Suirrel1 – that would be an awesome match up. Bisping trains with Rampage and Kongo, both are crazy strikers but not much for knees and kicks like Silva, even though kongo beat Krocop with a high one, its not a main part of his arsenal like with silva.

I dont think A.Silva should fight Fedor or Couture at heavyweight,But i do believe that he should fight at Light Heavyweight, to give the fight fans some truly entertaining fights…..I even believe that Hendo would give him a better fight at 205. Seriously how can you not like Spider? Hes a warrior, beaten everyone hes fought in UFC within the distance in EXCITING fashion and unlike a lot of fighter, shows respect before and after the fight. Respect is the key aspect of martial arts and he embodies this.
Him and GSP are about as complete fighter as you can get. Spider probably needs to work on his wrestling and GSP on his BJJ (i think he’s a purple belt but dont quote me on that).
I personally feel UFC have made a massive mistake for MMA and the fans in not signing up Matt Lindland, that would’ve a great great fight.

At UFC 82 they said what Anderson walks around at, 195. Still a hell of a drop to get down to 170. Not like he’s a heavy/lightweight that has some body fat on him. He’s pretty skinny already. Im in no way defending Gerbal1 but if any of you remember the original UFC’s (or weren’t you on the bandwagon yet lol) you’d know there were NO weight classes. A 175 pound fighter can wipe the mat with a 225 lb fighter or heavier. Royce Gracie did it consistently. Now this isn’t the same game as it used to be but I still think Silva could whip some of the heavy weights out there. Not the top heavy weights though.
